Nach all den Sachen die in den letzten Jahren rund um Inter vorgefallen sind, ist mir das mittlerweile ziemlich egal.

Ist mir schon klar, dass rund um Inter nicht immer alles sauber war - aber wer im Glashaus...

Grundsätzlich bekommt mich aber das ungute Gefühl, dass dieser Vertrag bewusst ungültig zu Stande gekommen ist oder dass ein absoluter Stümper Inter das eingebrockt hat. Einfach unprofessionell und unnötig

Zanetti signs until 2013

Javier Zanetti has extended his contract with Italian and European champions Inter until 2013, Sky Sport 24 understands.

The veteran only had a year left on his previous deal, but it is believed that he has put pen to paper on a two-year extension.

Zanetti was President Massimo Moratti’s first signing back in 1995 and he played in his 700th game for the club during the 2010 Champions League Final.

Zanetti, the Nerazzurri captain, will celebrate his 37th birthday tomorrow and will thus be just shy of his 40th when his new deal expires.

Already assured of his place in club legend, the Argentine is still expected to be a key figure under new boss Rafael Benitez.

Das Kranke daran ist ja, dass das keine Vertragsverlängerung ist, nur um eine Legende und die Fans zufrieden zu stellen, sondern dass es durchaus möglich ist, dass Zanetti noch länger Stammspieler ist. Mir unbegreiflich, wie man in dem Alter noch auf diesem Niveau und ohne längere Verletzungspausen spielen kann.

Diego Milito signs new contract

MILAN - FC Internazionale announces with pleasure that Diego Milito has signed a one-year extension to his contract with the club. The new contract runs until 30 June 2014.

"I will always be grateful to a great club like Inter for choosing me, and to president Moratti for his faith in me," said the Argentine striker, who conquered Italy and Europe in his first season at Inter.

Najo, gerade in dem Alter kann es dann aber recht schnell gehen mit dem Leistungseinbruch. Da red ich weniger von Zanetti, der hat sich schlicht und einfach den Rentenvertrag verdient, sondern eher von Milito, der mit Ablauf des Vertrages 35 Jahre alt sein wird...

Moratti: "Agreement with Sneijder until 2015"

MILAN - Inter president Massimo Moratti revealed on Thursday evening that Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has extended his deal with the club until 2015.

Speaking during the club's shareholders meeting, Moratti said: "Today we reached an agreement for the extension of Wesley Sneijder's contract until 2015. Sneijder was an essential player for Inter last season and it will be the same this year and for many years to come."

Sneijder is one of the candidates for the 2010 Ballon d'Or and Moratti is confident that his midfielder will carry off the prestigious award. "We all hope that he wins it, for everything he did with us and his national team at the World Cup.

"But let's not forget that Maicon, Eto'o and Julio Cesar are also among the candidates. They deserve it too, just like Milito who, absurdly, is missing from this list."

Moratti went on to talk about the club's financial situation: "The significant reduction of losses is thanks also to the efficiency of the people at the company who accompanied the team on the road to success and have worked to improve the company's economic outlook. Inter übrigens dank eines 3-0 (Torschützen waren Stankovic, Zanetti und Milito) gegen Asiens CL-Sieger Seongnam im Finale der Klub-WM 2010!

Gewännen sie dort gegen den krassen Außenseiter Mazembe aus Kongo wäre es nicht nur der 3. Titel für Inter sondern insgesamt der 9. für Italien (Milan 4, Juventus 2), womit Italien zum Rekordsiegerland Argentinien aufschließen würde.

Innerhalb Europas ist man in dem Bewerb ohnehin konkurrenzlos...
