I red your analisys of the two teams and found them quite interesting and sorry for saying it  somewhat amusing. Feels like you´re about to find out soon enough that the world might be even rounder than you think. Red Star is not Real Sociedad which is correct. But... neither is Salzburg.  Like your team  our have just a couple of worthy opponent-teams in the national league so the sparring quality could be said is equal domestically speaking.   Red Bull  got beaten by Rijeka, Zagreb and even Malmö..twice.   I saw all these games and even those your team won through the rounds of European League straight afterwards. It´s a  technically solid team with good teamspirit. Precisely as ours. Your team´s potential advantage is that it doesn´t have to play infront of a full crowded stadium in Belgrade because of the sanctiones by UEFA. Havings said that however it might also be an disadvantage for your team because it will be less preasure on the homeside as well.  The chances are equal for both teams of this reason. It will most probably be the second game in Salzburg that will determine which of the teams will go to the group stage of CL and EL. Red Star has a really great fanbase through whole Europe and it´s pitty that a group of 2000 thugs mess up for over 3 million fans.

 

***(Our team doesn´t play the same way like Shkendija does. Shkendija looked like a serbian second league team with poor pitch intelligence and sadly organised. Still they looked like to me to be the better side in the second game in Macedonia. You were lucky to win it and the  gamewinning goal  illustrated it. It was given to you by the opponents. But offcourse; you finished the job already in the first game where Shkendija missed a couple of really nice chances and where the goalie Stankovic saved you. Without the penalty in the first half it woud not be an easy trip for you. You´re second goal came in really psihologically good situaiton for your team which was in additional time of the first half. The third goal another penalty. 

To conclude your analisys it is far from objective but i also red some of the comments of our colleagues which repairs the impression of your fanbase. I won´t sruggle with the recent comments against MilosRSB because i find them simularly useless as parts of the ones he wrote himself  for which he got edited. Everyone on their own should take care of their mental hygiene for proper communication in the messageboards which may make the communications ahead interesting and inspiring.

Insgesamt bis zu 4 Tickets pro Abonnent (in diesem Play-off) würde ich als angemessen sehen. Wegen ein paar schwarzen Schafen macht man es nun für alle ungemütlicher?

Of course, we do not need to agree to all of your views. Let me explain:

1. Your fans: Salzburg does not have Hooligans and is a very family friendly team, which encourages kids to come to the games. I have close Serbian friends, and they told me, that they do not attend games of red star, due to many aggressive and abusive "fans". They would never go with their kids to the stadium. He told me, that your fans are politically organized and he called it mafia-like. Thus, in this regards, I guess Salzburg is by far the more sympathetic club from an objective standpoint. 

 

2. League: You are comparing the two leagues and conclude they are equal. They are not. We had teams like Rapid or Austria in the Champions League and in the UEFA 5 years ranking, the Austrian League is far better ranked than the Serbian. Dominating our league is far more difficult than dominating yours.

3. Recent history: While Salzburg won the EL group stage and advanced against teams like Dortmund and Lazio, Red Star has no large international success to show. With due respect for the love to your team, but you simply can`t compare the strength of these teams considering that the team that was so successful last year is still doing it's job this year.

4. System and tactics: Salzburg plays one, or the most, high intensity soccer in Europe/the world. After beating Bayern Munich some time ago, the coach was asked if he ever saw a team that plays with such intensity. He said "no". The coach was Pep. Salzburg can play a very intensive, high speed, high pressing game. While we are not that good in holding ball possession in general, in pressing and speed we are top class. Our intensity can destroy opponents as we have seen Lazio going down in just a couple of minutes when playing hyper fast soccer. 

 

5. The outlook: Your big chance is, that our team, consisting of very young talented players, get nervous and does not bring their potential on the pitch. If they do, Red Star has not the slightest chance. A realistic , objective prognosis is that Salzburg has a 2/3 chance to advance while Red Star has a 2/3 chance to play in the EL. 

 

Of course, your fans will blame it on the UEFA and political reasons, but that is fine for us, as we will be happy to celebrate the CL group stage by then. We are looking forward to some great games and I hope both teams can get their potential on the pitch.

@tommtomm Du unterstellst aber den Abobesitzern (indirekt) dass sie die extra zur Verfügung gestellten Karten auf Ebay verkaufen und das ist halt ein bisschen komisch, da ein Fancard Besitzer das erst recht machen kann und darüber hinaus mit viel weniger Aufwand.

Finde die Beschränkung auf 1+1 ehrlich gesagt auch ziemlich oarsch. Verstehe aber, dass man Karten für die BDK und die Besitzer einer Fancard übrig lassen will.

Für die Leute, die wirklich hinter Salzburg stehen wollen, aber nur ein, zwei Mal im Jahr ins Stadion können, ist es schade - da hast du recht. Aber nicht wenige, die ja schon immer  sooo große Salzburgfans waren, als es hier drin um Karten ging, haben nach dem Halbfinale sogar ihre Aktivitäten im Soccerboard wieder eingestellt. 

Ich weiß nicht, wie oft ich schon Karten übrig hatte, wo es maximal einen Radler gekostet hätte, ein gratis Oberrang-Ticket für ein BL-Spiel zu bekommen. Und ich will nicht nachrechnen, wie oft die Karte dann verfallen ist. Bei den ausverkauften Spielen hingegen wäre ich leicht 20 Tickets an "Du-gehst-doch-immer-ins-Stadion-kann-ich-am-Donnerstag-vielleicht-auch-mitgehen"-Interessenten losgeworden. 

Es gibt immer zwei Seiten der Medaille, und ich hoffe, dass alle wirklichen Fans die Möglichkeit bekommen, unser Team live im Stadion zu unterstützen. Und genau dafür gibt's auch unsere Kartenbörse für die internationalen Spiele. 

Da hast schon recht. Nur, als Abo-Besitzer sollte man zumindest einen kleinen spürbaren Vorteil gegenüber Fancard-Besitzern und co. haben (1+1). Als wäre nach der Abo-Phase das Kontingent leer ... Die teilnahmlosesten Leute in der näheren Sitzplatz-Umgebung bei gut besuchten Spielen sind wohl eh immer die "Sponsoren und Partner", die sich während des Spiels weder freuen noch ärgern (und damit mein ich nicht die Choleriker, auf die man auch ab und zu trifft).

Geh bitte, unsere Mannschaft ist es ja gewohnt mit wenig Fans zu spielen, bzw. mit mehr/lauteren Auswärtsfans als Heimfans. Da mach ich mir keine Sorgen.

Mir wäre Trnava schon lieber gewesen, die Leistung auswärts beim 0:1 von uns war ja auch miserabel. Den Vorteil gegenüber den letzten 10 Jahren sehe ich aber nicht in der Mannschaft sondern im Trainerteam. Rose, Maric und Co. werden RSB sicherlich akribisch studieren und dann zumindest im Heimspiel die passende Lösung finden. Die letzte EL Saison hat mich überzeugt, dass wir auch ein schlechtes Auswärtsspiel daheim wieder ausbessern können.

Bezüglich Geisterspiel: bin nur mobil unterwegs und kann da jetzt keine Quelle posten, aber soweit ich das in Erinnerung gabe hat der Heimvorteil weit mehr mit infrastrukturellen Unterschieden (Reisestrapazen, Ausstattung Gastekabine, anderer Platz) als mit dem Support zu tun. Ich hab eher die Befürchtung, dass sich die Serben durch das Geisterspiel im Rückspiel erst recht extradeppert aufführen wollen.

Nach dem Hinspiel hätte ich Crvena zvezda eher mit Tiraspol als mit Shkëndija verglichen. Wenn ich zum Rückspiel etwas finde, schreib ich vielleicht am Sonntag wieder einen Roman. ;-)

Das ist klar. Wir wurden von einer Nudeltruppe auf serbischem 2. Liga-Niveau an die Wand gespielt, während RSB lockerst gegen die Spitzentruppe aus Trnava weitergekommen ist.

Es ist so wurst, wie wir in Tetovo gespielt haben. Wenn man oasch spielt, wird es gegen jeden Gegner auf dieser Welt schwierig.
