so, ich bin auch mal wieder da!

Zuerst mal ein dickes an die Telekom Austria, die es einfach nicht schaffen mir mein Internet wieder freizuschalten. So kann ich derzeit immer nur schreiben, wenn ich in der Schule mal ins Net komme

Nun zur Lage von MU:

Auch wenn MU grade echt schlecht drauf is, aber mit so einer Niederlage gegen City hätt ich echt nie und nimmer gerechnet. Vorallem nachdem unsere Abwehr gegen Porto gar nicht mal soo schlecht ausgesehen hat.

Und dann bekommen wir gerade von City 4!!! Tore, unglaublich! Und schonwieder schafft es keiner von unseren Jungs unsere zahlreichen Chancen zu verwerten.

z.b hab ich da was von 2 mal Aluminium von Ronaldo gehört usw.

Da kommt zu unserem Unvermögen also auch noch Pech - echt super!!

Jetzt müssen wir echt bald aus unserer Krise kommen, denn genauso wie Gampern erwarte ich mir mindestens den 2. Platz in der Liga und ein wirklich sehr

engagiertes Auftreten im Cup. Wäre echt noch ein kleiner Trost, wenn wir da Arsenal besiegen könnten

Ich bin da eingentlich auch ganz zuversichtlich, kann ja nicht ewig so scheisse weitergehn, oder?

Angeblich wird ja auch die Strafe von Rio heruntergesetzt, wolln wirs hoffen!!!

Rechnungen hab ich immer brav bezahlt und plötzlich war beim Einwählen "Kennwort oder Benutzername falsch". Ich hab dann 2 Tage später bei der Serviceline angerufen und die haben mir gesagt, ich hätte mir einen Virus eingefangen und sie haben mich (zu meiner eigenen Sicherheit wohlgemerkt!) gesperrt. Die letzte Woche habe ich mehrmals bei der Telekom angerufen und ihnen 2 Fax mit dem Ergebniss der Virenprüfung geschickt die sie haben wollten damit ichs wieder freigeschaltet bekomme.

Erst heute wars dann wieder soweit Internet geht wieder!!!! 10 harte Tage vorbei! JUHU!!!!! wenigstens was, nachdem MU mir ja derzeit nicht grad viel Freude bereitet.

End of the road for Fergie

Manchester United's 4-1 humbling by neighbours City on Sunday is the lowest ebb so far in the Premiership champions fall from grace this season. Trailing twelve points behind Arsenal in the title race and dumped out of the Champions League by Porto in a nightmarish week, is it now time for Sir Alex Ferguson to end his Old Trafford reign?

Ferguson's dramatic U-turn over his much-publicised retirement and the subsequent signing of a new three-year contract in February 2002 was heralded as a wise move when the search for a suitable successor proved fruitless.

The probity of the decision was seemingly vindicated by United's title win last season - bouncing back from a 3-1 derby defeat to pip an over-confident Arsenal at the finish.

But there are signs this was the glorious swansong of the career of the most successful British manager of his generation - Arsenal's failure to capitalise on their lead in the title race masking a decline in Ferguson's powers.

There can be no doubt Ferguson has made some particularly astute decisions which have paid off handsomely since taking the helm of the club in 1986 - the replacement of the 'old guard' with the "kids" Beckham, Scholes, Neville and company the most brave and far-sighted of them all.

But questions now must be raised over whether his judgement is slipping.

The failure to buy a defender during the January transfer window to replace the suspended Rio Ferdinand is now looking like a major blunder which has cost his side dear.

Reports are Ferguson did make a bid for the Middlesbrough defender Gareth Southgate, only to be rebuffed by the north-east club.

But surely the richest club in the world could have gone out on a limb to splash out on a world-class defender to fill the void left by Ferdinand?

BLINDED OVER BROWN

Ferguson has gone on record as saying he believes Wes Brown is the best natural defender at the club, but Sir Alex's iron-clad conviction in his own opinion seems to have blinded him in the case of the young player.

Though Brown deserves sympathy for his horrendous luck with injuries in recent seasons, he clearly falls some way short of United's high standards - his appallingly reckless tackle to concede a penalty in the admittedly victorious FA Cup quarter-final against Fulham an example of impetuosity United can ill afford.

Trying to cover United's defensive frailties with makeshift solutions, such as the development of midfielder Quinton Fortune into first-choice left-back, merely highlights an alarming decline in the Premiership champions' strength.

QUANTITY NOT QUALITY

At the other end of the pitch, while Louis Saha will undoubtedly prove a solid purchase, the risks taken in signing David Bellion - after only a handful of Premiership games for Sunderland - and Diego Forlan, coupled with the faliure to lure Ronaldinho to Old Trafford have left United short on firepower.

Added to this Ferguson's curious preference for playing a defender - Phil Neville - in midfield ahead of two ready-made new purchases - Eric Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson - and the replacement of David Beckham with the significantly less precocious Darren Fletcher and the reason for United's troubles becomes clear - declining squad strength and quality.

Though the now-settled furore over the 'Rock of Gibraltar' and his differences with club shareholder John Magnier show Ferguson still enjoys the overwhelming support of a grateful United faithful, can he continue to lead the club forward in such an atmosphere of behind-the-scenes bitterness?

Ferguson will have his own views on his future and his iron-will and determination to prove his critics wrong mean he is unlikely to throw in the towel - but this could harm the club and more worryingly - with his recent revelations concerning his having a pacemaker fitted - his health.

The side still have chance of picking up some silverware with the FA Cup, but this trophy will be seen as a very poor third to that of the Champions League and the Premiership and the semi-final obstacle posed by Arsenal has yet to be overcome.

Ferguson should step down at the end of the season - giving his successor the chance to rebuild over the close season.

The man who steps into the breach would be faced with the tough task of matching his predecessor's run of success and the United board would be required to show the same kind of indulgence for him as they did Ferguson in his early lean years in charge.

Martin O'Neill has long been touted as the man to step into the Old Trafford hot-seat, though Jose Mourinho - the man who plotted United's Champions League downfall so brilliantly - could be, like last season's right-hand man Carlos Queiroz, the man to breathe fresh life into the United giant.

Hab gestern zum erstenmal das Spiel gegen City gesehen! Mich persönlich freut es ja, aber die ManU Abwehr könnte sich nicht einmal als schweizer Käse verkaufen. Solche Abwehrfehler, die die Roten im Moment fabrizieren, geht ja auf keine Kuhhau mehr. Vorallem der Fehler von Silvestre hatte es ordentlich in sich. Ferdinand tat mir richtig leid, wie er da auf der Tribüne sass und zusehen mußte, wie sich seine Abwehrkollegen blamierten.

Nichts desto trotz, Bravo City!

Fortune set for a year out of action

Quinton Fortune's knee injury is worse than first feared and the Manchester United ace could be sidelined for a year after undergoing surgery.

Fortune had knee surgery following a training ground injury two weeks ago and at first it was thought to be a cartilage problem, but Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that the South African could be missing much longer.

"Quinton Fortune is out for a year," said Ferguson.

It is certainly a massive blow to the player who was one of the heroes of last season's championship success.

Fortune who began his United career playing on the left wing, was switched to a more orthodox midfield role during an injury crisis in October 2002 when David Beckham, Nicky Butt and Roy Keane were all out of action.

He and Phil Neville stepped in, but Fortune broke a leg at Liverpool on 1 December and made only two more starts before the end of the season.

This term he has been used mostly as a left full-back and his absence will only add to the pressures on Ferguson for not adding another defender to his squad during the January transfer window.

Man Utd face ticket cut

Manchester United have had their ticket allocation for next month's FA Cup semi-final reduced by 1,500.

They had been given 18,600, but that has been cut to just over 17,000, while Arsenal's 18,400 allocation has not been reduced.

The decision is said to have been taken because of licensing officials' safety concerns over United fans' habit of standing throughout matches.

Neither the Football Association nor Manchester United have commented.

Rio Ferdinands Einspruch gegen seine achtmonatige Sperre wurde vom englischen Fussballverband endgültig abgelehnt. Er bleibt also bis 20. September gesperrt.

Aber hauptsache italienische Dopingsünder bekommen maximal 6 Monate Sperre und das wird zumeist auch noch verkürzt. Jaja, die FA will ihre Muskeln zeigen, scheißegal ob angemessen oder nicht.
