Denk/Hoffe auch, mit dem Typen werden wir viel Freude haben, hab ein irrsinnig gutes Gefühl.

Diese Einstellung ist ja schon mal sagenhaft!

Das einzige was mich anzipft.. Warum könnens ned einfach YAYA aufs Trikot schreiben. Wär ein Pflichtkauf, Toure Yaya liest sich irgendwie ned so toll, und dann noch in der umgedrehten Reihenfolge, muss ich mir wohl eins selber beflocken lassen.

100% agree. tolle Einstellung! so wird er schnell zum Publikumsliebling.

Viel spass mit ihm und ich denke auch wenn es Franzosen vor ihm gab die bei Barca ned gut gespielt haben wird Henry es allen zeigen

EDIT: Koennt ihr mir sagen ob Maxi Lopez schon ausgeliehen wurde weil laut sports.fr soll Marseille versuchen ihm zu verpflichten... Was haltet ihr von Maxi und was kann er alles spielen bitte?

Hab auch schon vom Interesse an Maxi gelesen, Leihe mit Kaufoption in Höhe von 4-5 Mio. steht zur Diskussion. Er ist ein klassischer MS, und hat für Barca nur dieses eine berühmte Tor gegen Chelsea erzielen können. Im Vorjahr kam er auf 3 Tore bei Mallorca.

Denke ein Wechseln in eine kleinere Liga würd ihm gut tun.

xavi hat sich zu wort gemeldet. Ein sehr interessantes Interview.

Xavi believes that Barcelona have the strongest squad in the club's history, but warned that all the players have to work for the team.

The Blaugrana midfielder is excited about the arrival of the four new signings this summer and is relishing the prospect of playing in such a star-studded side.

But as one of the club's captains, Xavi knows that the pressure will be on to perform and that there cannot be a repeat performance of last year.

"There has never been so much talent assembled at the same time in the history of Barca," he said after Thierry Henry, Yaya Toure, Eric Abidal and Gabriel Milito were added to the squad this summer.

"It is the best set of players I have seen in my ten years at the club.

"As a Barca fan I can say that the new signings are ten out of ten. There are no better players available.

"We have brought in four natural winners."

Xavi then outlined his thoughts on each of the new arrivals and did not hold back in his praise for Henry.

"He is absolutely amazing. He is a player that can make a real difference, a true superstar," the 27-year-old explained, before focusing on Milito.

"Five years ago, when he was at Independiente, I said to (Carles) Puyol that he would play for Barca.

"I had that feeling every time that I played against him.

"We used to talk and joke about things and I didn't even really know him. He is a great player."

On international duty, Xavi has faced Abidal and was impressed: "I played against him in the World Cup last year when France beat us and he was very physical, very strong and powerful," he said.

"Toure is the one that I know the least about though, but it is evident that he has been signed to give us extra strength in midfield."

Xavi is keen to see what plans coach Frank Rijkaard has for Henry, Ronaldinho, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi, but is doubtful that they can all play together.

"They are four players that only think about attacking and there is no other team in the world that plays with four players like this in the same team at the same time," he continued.

"I do not know whether Rijkaard should change the tactics to fit them all in.

"But what is clear that none of them will be able to rest on their laurels.

"All those players are champions, the best in the world and are all capable of making a difference in any game and winning matches single-handedly."

After failing to retain the league title last season, Xavi has said that despite the talent in the squad every player must be intent on winning for the team.

"We have to be cautious and cannot say that we are going to win everything, because nobody has done that in the past 50 years," he stated.

"But everyone knows that this team has to win one trophy at least.

"I do not think that we lost our way completely last season, although it is true that the level did drop. It is in our hands to recover that.

"Last term we were, perhaps, over confident. We thought we were the best and could achieve success easily.

"The a series of misunderstandings unsettled the squad.

"Like what happened between Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o. All that came about because they did not talk in the dressing room.

"I think that the delicate situations were solved well and if the club hand me the task of implementing the internal code, then I will do it.

"Rijkaard considers us to be professional and adults. That is the basis for the way he deals with things in the dressing room.

"If there are people that do not live up to those two expectations, then that is not the coach's fault.

"I sincerely believe that Rijkaard is the best coach for Barcelona.

"This season everyone has to think only about team.

"But all the players have to think about the team first and themselves second."

Den ersten Verletzten gibt es übrigens auch schon. Eidur Gudjohnsen zog sich eine Blessur im linken Knie(Knorpelentzündung) zu und kann derzeit nicht trainiern. Heute Abend wird sich entscheiden, ob er ins Trainingslager nach Schottland mitfahren kann.

Henry die 14, Touré die 17, und Abidal, Dos Santos bzw Milito??? Hab irgendwas von 22 (Abidal) bzw. 12 (Milito) gelesen? Stimmt das, auf der Offiziellen gibt es nämlich noch keine Kaderliste für 2008!

Stimmen alle, lediglich bei Milito könnte sich noch was tun, da er angeblich in Richtung Mottas 3 schielt und diese, sollte Thiago demnächst irgendwo angebracht werden, auch bekommen könnte. Bei Bojan und Gio ists noch nicht sicher, welche Nummern sie bekommen. Bei letzterem weiß man derzeit noch nicht einmal, ober überhaupt ins Team aufrücken darf, da der Einbürgerungsprozess noch immer nicht abgeschlossen ist. Man hofft darauf, dass es bis zum Saisonstart klappt.
