Der braucht hoffentlich kein Relocating, denn sonst haben die Hütteldorfer wohl noch gröbere Probleme als jetzt.

Ich denke einfach viele Vereine scheuen davor zurück Ausländer zu engagieren, vor allem wegen dieser Relocatingsache. offentlich setzt da mal ein Umdenken ein.

Da ist das ganze Interview der Sportwoche. Interessant zB dass RBS läuferisch und athletisch mit den Werten von Dortmund und Bayern mithalten kann, obwohl man am Anfang der Saison schlechtere Werte als in der Vorsaison hatte.

Ralf Rangnick, Sporting Director of Red Bull Salzburg and RB Leipzig, was an impressive and dynamic presence at this week’s International Football Arena in Zurich.

Rangnick was the coach who in May 2006 took over the team from Hoffenheim, a village of 3,000 inhabitants, when it was in the third division. Rangnick coached them to consecutive promotions, and in its first season in the Bundesliga, Hoffenheim were crowned ‘winter champions’. A few weeks after replacing Felix Magath as Schalke boss in spring 2011, his team beat Inter Milan 7-3 on aggregate in a Champions League quarter-final.

Rangnick took on the Red Bull project this summer and has compared it to how he felt at the start of the Hoffenheim adventure: Salzburg have won four league titles since Red Bull bought them in 2005, while Leipzig, seen as the birthplace of German football, is currently top of the Regionalliga Nordost, Germany’s fourth division.

Rangnick explained how he wants both sides to share the same philosophy. He has been conducting workshops for the coaches of all Red Bull teams, including the global partners from their Brazil and Ghana soccer schools.

Two items in his ‘RB Vision and Philosophy’ stood out:

i. Use transitions and switch quickly: try to win back the ball within five seconds with aggressive pressing. After winning the ball back, play quickly straight away, play direct and vertically towards the opponents’ goal, surprise the disorganised opponent to get into the penalty area and shoot within ten seconds of winning ball back.

ii. The more a team sprints (ie, the more the players sprint) faster to win back the ball, then there is a greater likelihood they will score a goal once they have won it back quickly.

Rangnick admitted that the success of Barcelona has changed how many teams approach the game, conceding that the modern game has no place for the midfield player who can ‘put his foot on the ball and slow the game down’. These two tenets are straight out of the Barcelona school, at least the Guardiola school. New coach Tito Vilanova has his players pressing less often, but he is introducing a more vertical style, embodied by Cesc Fabregas, as opposed to Guardiola’s more lateral game (with Xavi Hernandez as its fulcrum).

In the space of three months, Rangnick’s methods at Red Bull are already bearing fruit. He is not the only one using this model. Borussia Dortmund is proving in the Champions League this season that this style can work. As their coach Jurgen Klopp recently said: “The best playmaker is perfect counter-pressing.”

Houllier zu Lyon als SD/GD sollte bald durch sein. Aulas bestätigt das und es sollte diese Woche fixiert werden.

Wäre richtig bitter, dann wird die Alöse aber sehr üppig ausfallen müssen.
