zu diesem zeitpunkt verdienter sieg. wir haben einfach zu viele verletzte. wie rahzel schon geschrieben hat, hatte drenthe sehr viel platz, aber der kann nix, ist es nicht würdig real spieler zu sein. so dämlich anstellen bei der 1g1 aktion ein hacken vorbei und valdez hat keine chance....das wäre mal eine grundlage gewesen. (robben hätte ich da mal gerne gesehen)

motm: yaya tuore, hat besonders am anfang eine super partie gemacht.

casillas einfach göttliche parade(hammer von etoo usw.), und eine unform hatte er diese saison auch nicht!!!

Ich hoffe dass es im Bernabeu ein anderes Spiel wird... denn ich hoffe dass sich die weißen Ballerinas auch mal spielerisch ins Match einbringen. Und wenn eine Mannschaft mit Barca mitspielen will, haben wir ja eh schon oft gesehen was passieren kann!

@Casillas: Finde eigentlich, dass er sehr schwach gespielt hat seit der EM, gestern hat er seine Klasse wiedereinmal unter Beweis gestellt und ich hoffe, dass er ab jetzt wieder konstant spielt.

Ähm ja, schau dir das spiel am besten noch einmal an, es gibt eine aktion von drenthe stimmt, da sieht alves nicht gut aus und er hätte das tor machen müssen.Nur das alves auch viel nach vorne gemacht hat im gegensatz zu ramos ist dir hoffentlich aufgefallen.Ich kann mich aber ehrlich gesagt an keine aktion von ramos gegen messi erinnern wo er im 1 gegen 1 wenn er NICHT foul gespielt hat messi aufhalten konnte.Gerade bei der ersten grosschance durch messi hat er ausgeschaut wie ein schuljunge, erinnerte mich an damals gegen ronaldinho im bernabeu, da lieferte er auch eine sensationelle leistung ab.

Für mich waren gestern eindeutig die beiden 1sen die männer des spiels.Bei euch war es ausserdem noch der junge der eingewechselt wurde.

Barcelona's players accept they were not at their best for last night's victory over Real Madrid.

The win places Barca 12 points clear of Real in the Liga standings and midfielder Xavi said: "It was expected that Madrid would be defensive, therefore, we could not play our usual game. They made many mistakes, a sign that they were not very good.

"Anyway, we did not find our best. We were a little sluggish because Madrid did not leave spaces. Not much remains to say because we've not won the league."

Barca fullback Daniel Alves remarked: "Although we knew that Madrid was not at their best, they threatened us a lot. It was difficult because they were strong. With the suffering, we can also enjoy victories.

Habe Ich Gestern vergessen zu erwähnen das das Debut von Palanca sehr zufriedenstellend war ,da sieht man das genug Potenziall in der eigenen Jugend steckt,hoffentlich macht das Ramos besser als Schuster und fördert die eigenen Jungen mehr.

@razhel und @RoNeX Ich finde es nicht fair gegüber Drenthe als Bumann dazustellen solche Chancen haben andere Spieler auch schon vergeben,und immerhin ist er erst 21,natürlich hätte er mehr darus machen können mit den Platz,das er kein Robben ist ist wohl auch klar.

An die Barca Fans die über Sergio Ramos so herziehen, die dürften wohl vergessen haben das er noch nie auf der linken Verteidiger Position gespielt hat,Ich möchte mal sehen wie Alves ausschauen würde wenn er gegen ManU in Manchester auf LV Position spielen müsste.

Das hast du falsch verstanden, ich habe ihn nicht als Buhmann hinstellen wollen. Ich finde es toll, dass er gekämpft hat wie ein Löwe und immer wieder hinten ausgeholfen hat. Ich mache ihm keinen Vorwurf, er ist aber einfach nicht Arjen Robben.

Er wird auch nie ein Robben werden,er ist aber trotzdem ein spieler mit luft nach oben,wie du ja auch selbst meinst ist seine defensiv verhalten auf jeden fall zu erwähnen und das er auch spielerisch und ofensiv nicht so schlecht ist hat er ja schon des öfteren bewiesen.

For the first time in the club's proud history La Liga champions Real Madrid appear to be celebrating a loss to their great rivals Barcelona

The plane touched down in the freezing darkness of Barajas at 4.30 in the morning. Fabio Cannavaro flipped himself upright for the first time in an hour, the blood rushing down his neck and back towards the leg that lost a fight with the Camp Nou goalpost. The final cigarette was extinguished and the sporting director Pedja Mijatovic peeled his head off the headrest with a loud slurp. As the Real Madrid squad filed down the stairs, one remarked with tired satisfaction: "We've shown that we can win the league tonight." The coach Juande Ramos agreed. "Tonight," he said, "our players were perfect." "That's the way!" ran the text circulated by a Madrid supporters' club. "We're proud of our team."

Inside the terminal, there were handshakes and pats on the back. Across the city, vans were setting off with the first edition of the morning's papers, the cover of AS emblazoned with the triumphant title: "Madrid are back." Marca's Roberto Gómez eulogised about "Madrid's dignity", Tomás Roncero's column lauded the "pride of champions" and Realmadrid.com awarded the team a "perfect ten". Five hours sleep later and Ramos arrived at Valdebebas to watch Castilla. As he took his seat, he was given a standing ovation. Two lads with loudhailers began to chant his name.

You would think Madrid had beaten Barcelona and were definitely back in the title race. You would think they were the best team in the country. You would think Ramos had proven Bernd Schuster wrong. You would not think that Madrid had lost el clásico 2-0, that they had lost their third successive league game, their fourth in five, or that they sat 12 points adrift — a gap no side has ever overturned to win the competition. You would not think Barça's fans had ended their night chanting: "¡Madrid, cabrón, saluda al campeón!" (Madrid, you bastards, bow down before the champions!) And you certainly wouldn't think that Madrid were sixth.

But that is exactly what happened and exactly where they are. The best team in the country? Madrid aren't even the best team in the city after Atlético overtook them last night. And far from proving Schuster wrong, Ramos had proven Schuster dead right.

Perhaps the reaction shouldn't surprise. After all, Roncero is the loony that wrote "Raúl, I love you!" (and probably meant it), who described how a tear trickled down his cheek when Iker Casillas saved Samuel Eto'o's penalty. As for Gómez, he couldn't be less dignified if he donned stockings and suspenders and spent the night throwing lewd suggestions Ramón Calderón's way. From the door of the Almudena Cathedral. But, oddly, they were not alone; almost everywhere you looked in Madrid there was celebration rather than commiseration.

Perhaps it is a necessary counterweight to the crowing Catalan comics who are already planning the ultimate humiliation — Madrid being forced to return the guard of honour from last season when they meet on May 3. Perhaps it is a timely corrective for those scoffing at Míchel Salgado's reasonable claim that with 23 games remaining a comeback is not impossible — especially with old players returning from injury and new players joining from abroad. Perhaps it is the natural act of vindication after a week in which Barcelona seemed destined to score five but only managed two.

Perhaps it is even justified. After all, Madrid did keep Barcelona at bay until the 83rd minute. They did force them into losing the ball more often than in any game this season. And they could have won it, with Royston Drenthe living up to his "Accidentrenthe" nickname by missing a wonderful opportunity. There was a system at last, with Schuster's lopsided 4-3-3 binned, and hint of hope. There was plenty of sacrifice, discipline and spirit. Fernando Gago was superb; Raúl, as clever as he was committed, was everywhere; and Casillas successfully reapplied for beatification. Drenthe stopped Dani Alves, Cannavaro was fast, and even Christoph Metzelder looked good.

Perhaps. But there is no escaping the blunt and stunning truth: that, surely for the first time, Madrid are celebrating a defeat. A dignified defeat, maybe, but a defeat. Last weekend, Schuster declared it "impossible" to win at the Camp Nou and insisted that "all you can ask for is a decent display"; this weekend his replacement backed him up. After Saturday's clásico, Raúl said: "Considering the situation, we're satisfied." He had said it all. Considering the situation. Considering the crippling injuries, the suspensions and the disastrous squad, considering the institutional crisis in Madrid and Barcelona's brilliance, a decent display is as good as we can hope for. Exactly as Schuster insisted. The difference was that Schuster only said it; Ramos did it. Yet Schuster got sacked and Ramos has been hailed a hero.

Because while every coach is entitled to prepare his team as he sees fit, while moral judgments are as empty as they are unfair, Madrid played in the hope they might hang on to a draw or snatch a shock victory, not in the belief that they might earn one. Which is probably fair enough for a team with no Pepe, Mahamadou Diarra, Ruud van Nistelrooy, or Arjen Robben, no left-back and only half a Wesley Sneijder. After all, as El País's Diego Torres put it: "When Ramos looked at his squad all he saw was a band of scrappers whose only chance to survive was to chew on [barcelona's] bones for as long as the ref would let them." But it doesn't exactly fit the identity of the continent's most successful club; or the past seven days in its tumultuous history. Schuster was sacked because Madrid demand the best, only against Barcelona they did not.

"Catenaccio. Man marking. Hacking the other team's star. Defensive changes. Accepting a 2-0 defeat. Is this really Madrid?" asked one publication this morning. Maybe not for long, but right now the answer, as Schuster suggested, is yes. Casillas wasted time, Madrid's most creative midfielder was played as a man-marker, their strikers lined up as midfielders and the whole team took it in turns to boot Leo Messi in the air. Wie auch schon in diesem Artikel angesprochen, das Schönste an diesem Samstag war nicht die Niederlage von Madrid, sondern die Art und Weise wie diese passiert ist. 90 Minuten verteidigen, schnalzen und trotzdem verlieren. Das war wirklich eine Schande, anders kann ich es nicht ausdrücken. Ich kann nachvollziehen, wenn bei einem solchen Spiel mit Derbycharakter mit einigen Spielern die Nerven durchgehen und sie zu solchen Mitteln greifen, große Spiele leben eben auch von solchen Szenen. Aber dass ein Trainer vor dem Spiel seine Mannschaft explizit darauf ausrichtet, ist nur erbärmlich und eines Weltklubs wie Real Madrid einfach unwürdig. Die ersten 45 Minuten waren wie ein Spiel gegen Albacete, Getafe oder Levante und andere Zwerge der vergangenen Jahre, die sich nicht anders zu helfen wussten. Selbst Valencia, mit ihrer seit Jahren heftig kritiserten harten Spielweise, hat sich so etwas niemals erlaubt. Eine Schande.

Man kann sich gar nicht vorstellen, wie sehr ich mich dann über Messis Tor gefreut habe.

Ob Ihr es glaubt oder nicht aber Ich war noch nie so Stolz REAL MADRID Fan zu sein als jetzt ,weil die Mannschaft Carackter bewiesen hat und sich nicht 5 oder 6 zu null aus den Camp Nou schiessen lies,und das mit diesen ganzen Turbulenzen der letzten Wochen(Personalsorgen,Trainerwechsel etc...),das da das eine oder andere gröbere Foul dabei war ist auch klar,aber das gehört ganz einfach zu so einen Spiel,und Wasernl waren die Barca Spieler auch nicht .

Eigentlich ein Wahnsinn wie sich die Erwartungshaltung der Hauptstädter entwickelt hat. Statt hochgradig über die eigene "Leistung" angefressen zu sein (und ja, die war einer Mannschaft wie Real Madrid unwürdig, siehe Chino über mir) wird eine 2:0 Niederlage gegen den Erzrivalen schöngeredet und die Mannschaft in Schutz genommen.

Vor nicht allzu langer Zeit hätte man sich in Madrid für diese Spielweise in Grund und Boden geniert. Und ja, auch Verletzungen sind dafür keine Ausrede.

Freut mich aber sehr, dass Ramos fortführt was Capello und Schuster begonnen haben. ¡Hala Madrid!
