Bin natürlich sehr enttäuscht das uns der beste Außenverteidiger der Welt verlässt, doch froh bin ich das er sich für Barcelona entscheiden wird und Real und Milan abgesagt hat. Ähnliches gilt für Thuram, doch auf Grund seiner 34 Jahre, schmerzt sein Abgang nicht so, trotzdem wäre es mir natürlich lieber gewesen er hätte für uns auch in der Serie B gespielt.

La Juventus ya ha acordado con el Barça el fichaje de Thuram

El representante del defensa de la Juventus Lilian Thuram ha asegurado hoy que Barça y Arsenal tienen "un 50%" de posibilidades de hacerse con su fichaje.

"Barcelona y Arsenal tienen las mismas posibilidades. Ya veremos qué pasa", agregó el agente. "El Arsenal también está interesado. Debo hablar con ellos. Está al 50% entre el Barça y el Arsenal", insitió.

Las palabras de Damiani resultan doblemente sorprendentes. Primero, porque el Barça ya ha llegado a un acuerdo con la Juventus para ficharle por 5 millones de euros, a pesar de su avanzada edad (34 años). Y segundo, porque el jugador, en sus apariciones públicas, ya ha reconocido que le encantaría jugar en el Camp Nou.

Das wäre natürlich der Hammer. Ich hätte mit einer Verstärkung der Abwehr schon sehr gerechnet, aber solche 2 Topspieler, hätt ich mir ned erwartet.

Although several key players are set to leave the Turin, Gigi Buffon and Alessandro Del Piero have pledged their futures to the club while David Trezeguet hasn’t ruled out Serie B football.

Thuram and Zambrotta sign for Barca

FC Barcelona has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Lilian Thuram and Gianluca Zambrotta. Thuram has signed a two-year contract while Zambrotta has committed himself for the next four years.

This Thursday, Thuram and Zambrotta became the latest additions to the Barca squad for the 2006-07 season following on from Eidur Gudjohnsen's move from Chelsea earlier in the summer. The former Juventus stars were two of the outstanding players in the recently finished World Cup and were included in the tournament's best eleven.

Thuram and Zambrotta, together with the rest of the Barca squad who took part in the World Cup, will join up with the team for the tour of Mexico and the United States.

Und Thuram dazu ist wohl weit mehr als nur eine Notlösung, einfach unglaublich.
