09/03/04 03:00 h.El Barça ha ofrecido a David Trezeguet, de la Juventus, 17,5 millones de euros por cinco temporadas, según el diario italiano 'Tuttosport'. El medio turinés afirma que el club catalán le ha asegurado al jugador una ficha de 3,5 millones de euros anuales durante cinco años y revela que la Juve recibiría unos 20 millones de euros por el traspaso.

Por ahora, la Juve se resiste a pagar al jugador la cifra que le ofrece el Barça para renovar su contrato, que expira en 2005, con lo que habría serias posibilidades de que el francoargentino fuera azulgrana la próxima temporada.

Reunión decisiva

De todas maneras, el futuro de Trezeguet en la Juventus depende de una próxima y decisiva reunión que el jugador y su padre, Jorge, que también es su apoderado, mantendrán con el director general del club turinés, Luciano Moggi, sobre el cual existe un marcado pesimismo, ya que desde hace meses no se ponen de acuerdo.

El mismo diario afirma que el sueco Zlatan Ibrahimovic, del Ajax, reemplazaría a Trezeguet. La Juve debería pagar 12 millones de euros al club de Ronald Koeman por la contratación del delantero, que tiene 22 años, es internacional con Suecia y esta temporada ha marcado tres goles, uno de ellos contra el Celta

Trezeguet Told Not To Discuss Barca

03/08/2004. Juventus have told David Trezeguet that he is not allowed to talk about Barcelona.

The Catalans have been strongly linked with a move for the player over the past few weeks, and the Frenchman told Marca: "These reports do not bother me. But Juve has requested that I do not speak on the subject and I must follow orders.

"I am calm and enjoying my football again. I am enjoying this season in Italy and my wish is to continue growing as a player and a person. And as far as I know, I will do this with Juventus."

Dein confirms new Barca bid for Henry

Arsenal vice-president David Dein has confirmed that Barcelona have made another sensational bid to sign Thierry Henry.

Dein confirmed Barca president Joan Laporta had returned with another huge offer for the talisman after testing their resolve earlier in the campaign.

The Gunners chief though says a flat-out 'no' was again the response, hoping the Catalans finally get the message.

Dein said: "Barca have finally understood that Thierry is not for sale.

"They know it's an absolute certainty that even if they come back with another offer, Henry will not go there. We will not sell him."

Dein also confirmed that the Camp Nou side had offered them Dutch striker Patrick Kluivert but said the former Milan front man did not fit into boss Arsene Wenger's plans.

"Right now Kluivert does not interest us," added Dein. "Patrick was offered to us but at the moment he does not enter the plans of manager Arsene Wenger."

Absoluter Blödsinn!

Darfst nicht alles glauben was man so im WorldWideWeb ließst.

Für mich persönlich würde ein Wechsel nur dann in Frage kommen, wenn Juve schon einen Ersatz für IHn gefunden hat (Cisse, Drogba, Zlatan, Corradi, Torres, Cavenaghi,.....) und Barca dafür Motta oder/und Puyol hergibt.

Apropos Puyol, da soll Manchester derzeit großes Interesse zeigen, glaube aber nicht, dass man so dermaßen blöd ist und ihn verkauft, er ist gerade dabei sich zu einer echten Identifikationsfigur bei Barca zu entwickeln. Wenn es nach mir ginge, würde ich ihn für kein Geld der Welt hergeben.

Ich hab ja nicht gesagt dass er schon gewechselt ist, aber es muss was dran sein an dem ganzen.Denn vegiss nicht, er hat komischerweise immer noch keinen neuen Vertrag unterschrieben .Dazu kommt dass el mundo deportivo sehr enge freunde von ihm interviewt hat, und dass juventus komischerweise verbot erteilt hat darüber zu sprechen.Also muss was dran sein. i würd sagen warten wirs ab oder?.

Luis Garcia was given some good news by the club's doctors this lunchtime, when they reduced the time they expect him to be out to just 10 days.

First impressions on Sunday, when Garcia had to be taken off against Murcia, were that the Catalan winger might be out for almost a month, but tests this morning revealed that the injury to his right knee was not as serious -with damage around the tendons, rather than the ligaments as was first feared.

Luis Garcia will still miss this weekend's game against Real Sociedad and, most probably, the UEFA Cup second leg match with Celtic.
