Es ist sogar auf der Homepage gestanden, dass er verkauft wird, er selber hat aber gemeint, er weißt nichts davon! Oder bin ich da nicht mehr auf dem Laufenden?

Ich habe eh selber hier reingeschrieben, dass er verkauft wurde, aber es hat doch geheißen, es ist nicht sicher und er weiß nix davon, dachte ich!

Was Ich weiss wurde er nur verliehen weil ja auch niergends eine Summe genannt wurde,sicher bin Ich mir aber jetzt auch nicht mehr. Ich haette nichts dagegen wenn er wieder zurueckkommen wuerde.

Kann mich an ein Interview von Woodgate von vor ein paar Wochen erinnern, in dem er sagte, dass noch nichts feststehe er sich erst nach Saisonende entscheiden wolle. Auf Reals Homepage wurde aber tatsächlich schon vor Monaten als fix vermeldet, dass er in England bleibt.

Einer anderer von Real verliehener Spieler soll jedenfalls, zumindest laut Marca, definitiv zurückkehren. Die Rede ist von Soldado, der, wie das Madrider Blatt gestern verkündete, für nächste Saison die einzige "Neuerwerbung" für den Sturm sein soll. Bei Osasuna konnte er heuer bis jetzt 8 Mal netzen und lieferte 3 Assists.

The Sixth German Merengue

As Madrid looks set to put the finishing touches to a formal deal that will bring a ‘Mannschaft’ man to the Bernabéu for the first time in the twenty-first century. Goal.com takes a quick glance back at the five who preceded him.

Although no formal contract has been penned and the White House is keeping mum on the subject, Metzelder is set to sign as soon as the current Bundesliga season is over, swapping the yellow and black of Borussia Dortmund for the white of Madrid.

26 year-old German international Cristoph Metzelder will be the sixth German player to don the Real Madrid ‘Merengue’ (Meringue) jersey, although he will be the first centre-back, although Stielike ended his Madrid days as a sweeper.

The good news for silverware hungry Madridista supporters is that all of the players’ arrivals heralded the conquest of at least one title by the White House – just what the doctor ordered as the club races towards the last possible chances of a Liga win this season.

Günter Netzer (1973-76)

The Bernabéu fell in love with the brainy play shown by the player. The iconic midfielder arrived from another Borussia – Moenchengladbach – which also provided Spain with such talented imports as Simonsen, Stielike and Jensen. Netzer won the Spanish Championship in 1975 and 1976 and the Spanish Cup in 1974 and 1975.

Breitner (1974-78)

He was Real Madrid’s answer to Barça’s Cruyff, apparently the result of a poll amongst the-then Merengue squad as to which player they wanted from the 1974 World Cup and the answer was Cruyff – followed by Paul Breitner.

Arriving from Bayern Munich his early role was as a roaming left back, as likely to score from the right midfield as stop an attacker in his penalty area. Later in his career he moved to midfield, and became one of the top midfielders through the early 1980's when he moved back to Bayern in 1978.

The controversially political player – one of the few outright left-wingers (politically speaking) to play for Real Madrid – is now a commentator.

Uli Stielike (1977-1985)

The player arrived as part of the solution to various Merengue ills as the club had just suffered one of its worst-ever seasons (1976-77), ending ninth in the Liga, knocked out in the last sixteen in the European Cup and in the third round of the domestic Copa del Rey.

Then-President Bernabéu decided to sign a powerful package of Wolff, Juanito and Stielike. Playing in defending midfield, he was part of the Moenchengladbach squad that won the Bundesliga in 1975-1977, the UEFA Cup in 1975 and was a runner-up in the European Cup in 1977 with a 1-2 against Liverpool F.C. in Rome.

The player joined Real Madrid to become an idol over eight years. His first three seasons at Santiago Bernabéu all ended in Real winning La Liga. In 1980 and 1982 he was part of the side winning Copa del Rey, in 1985 the Copa de la Liga and finished off his Madrid years with the UEFA Cup triumph of the same summer before leaving at thirty-one years of age

Bernd Schuster (1988-1990)

The now-Getafe – and could-be Madrid Coach next season if the grapevine is rustling with the right rumours – tactician arrived as a stroke of genius by then-President Ramón Mendoza who took advantage of a split between the Walrus-moustachioed man and the Barça management and fan base.

After eight years at Camp Nou the powerful midfielder swapped Azulgrana for Merengue – after a final season that included the player giving the finger to the Camp Nou crowd – and became one of the many who move between the two great clubs with a lot of friction and bad feeling.

Schuster moved to Real Madrid with a national scandal due to the bitter rivalry, but in Madrid he forgot polemics and joined the team as one more star. He was a perfect addition to la Quinta del Buitre and ruled in the Spanish Championship with 3 further Copa del Rey titles (1989, 1991, 1992) and La Liga in 1989, Bernd Schuster signing with Atlético Madrid in autumn 1990

Bodo Illgner (1996-2001)

Capello was the man behind the last German to land at the Bernabéu as the Italian was unhappy with both Buyo, too short, Cañizares, inexperienced. He landed Illgner at 29 years of age from FC Köln, the player having a good first two years by winning la Liga in the 1996-7 season and the Champions league in 1997-98, although problems over his new contract with his dragon-like wife-cum-agent causing trouble.

Iker Casillas replaced the German, making his debut at 18 in the Champions League against Olympiacos in September 1999, Illgner finally leaving two years later after a lot of time spent on the bench or at home, the player’s career eventually coming to end due to nagging injury problems.

Falls das was wird, bin ich ziemlich neugierig wie sich Metze in La Liga tut. Für seine Entwicklung wäre es mMn ein großer Schritt, sollte er seine Leistung abrufen können.

Jetzt muss heute einfach ein Sieg her, dann sind man nur mehr 2 Punkte hinter Barca und voll auf Meisterkus,

also bitte, da kann ein Guti fehlen, aber bitte Emerson, bring daheim eine unauffällige Leistung und schon ist ein Sieg drin.

Außerdem hat Sevilla nur Remis gespielt! Alles ist wieder offen! Wir haben aber noch ein hartes Programm, ich traue der Mannschaft trotzdem alles zu!

Na hoffentlich nicht.

Selbst wenn RM doch noch meister werden sollte - wovon ich selbst als Fan nicht ausgehe - ist das keine sooo große Leistung wenn man betrachtet, was Sevilla und Barca in dieser Saison geleistet haben. Die haben doch viel zu viele Punkte abgegeben. Von Sevilla ist es aber schon eine gute Leistung wenn sie sich überhaupt für die CL gewinnen aber als Meister würd ich mir da mehr erwartet. Ist zwar unrealistisch aber wenn Real Madrid in der Premier League spielen würde, wäre man mit so vielen Punktverlusten, die sich Real Madrid im Laufe der Saison erlaubt hat nicht so weit oben.
