I'll summarise as briefly as I can.

1) Inter is not innocent but due to statute of limitations will not be charged.

2) Inter was not charged in 2006 cause the tapped conversations involving Facchetti emerged only in May 2010. Ergo statute of limitations.

3) If Inter's tapped conversation had emerged in 2006, their position would have been exactly the same of all the other clubs involved bar Juve.

4) Inter was crowned Champion cause rated ethically faultless, The man who unilaterally made that decision was Guido Rossi (President of FIGC: Federazione Italiana Gioco Calcio), former Inter Board Member.

5) The current President of FIGC is Giancarlo Abete. Unlike 2006, the President of FIGC (Abete) is no longer granted the power to make such a decision. The decision will be made by the Federal Council of FIGC. The Council is composed by 27 members.

6) Most opinion makers now believe that the Council has no will to overturn the decision made by Guido Rossi back in 2006 cause afraid of further actions by other clubs.

7) Bottom line is: why weren't Inter's tapped conversation included in the 2006 Trial.

Serie A: Lockerung der Ausländer-Regelung

Wie schon vorgängig von 4-4-2.com angekündigt, hat der italienische Fussballverband in Zusammenarbeit mit der Liga das Ausländer-Reglement etwas gelockert. Ab der neuen Saison dürfen die italienischen Vereine zwei Nicht-EU-Ausländer pro Saison einstellen. Bisher konnten die Teams nur einen solchen Spieler unter Vertrag nehmen. Mit dieser Massnahme soll die internationale Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Klubs aus Italien gesteigert werden.

Das heisst in diesem Transferfenster, oder erst im Sommer 2012?

Blog: Calciopoli moral maze

With Inter's position in doubt after evidence was ignored for five years, Susy Campanale re-evaluates the scandal

Well, this is a curious situation. A good five years after Juventus were demoted, Milan, Fiorentina, Lazio and Reggina docked points, we’re only now listening to the Calciopoli wiretaps from Inter directors. So many questions and one huge moral maze.

Inter’s phone calls to the refereeing designators were not notably different from those made on behalf of Juve, Milan or the other sides. Designator Paolo Bergamo even said the FIGC had actively encouraged these conversations behind the scenes to avoid the usual public accusations of favouritism in the newspapers. It's ironic their attempts to improve the perception of refereeing bias resulted in the destruction of Italian football’s reputation around the world.

The Nerazzurri find themselves in a disastrous position. After five years of crowing about how they were the only clean force in a dirty system stacked against them, of singing ‘we win without stealing’ and suggesting how many more trophies they should’ve won going back decades, their fall from grace is more damning than that of Juventus. Luciano Moggi always had the air of a dodgy second hand car dealer about him, so his attempts to steer things his way were not really a surprise. Inter will claim they were only trying to protect themselves from the influences of other clubs, but then that was Moggi’s excuse too. Maybe in the Italian atmosphere of absolute paranoia, they were all acting ‘in self-defence’ of a non-existent assailant?

How did we get to this situation? These wiretaps were available in 2006 and Bergamo confirmed even then that he was in regular contact with Inter President Giacinto Facchetti, so why were they completely ignored? Dismissed as ‘irrelevant’ by investigators, it highlights an agenda in this rushed trial that only raises further doubts over the whole affair. At the time some protested that appointing former Inter President Guido Rossi to lead the FIGC ruling risked bias, or at least the appearance of it. In such a delicate situation as this, balance is absolutely crucial and by ignoring hours of wiretapped conversations that were not entirely different to those of Moggi and co, the entire Calciopoli trial feels deeply flawed.

The fact the FIGC report states Inter’s 2006 Scudetto (originally won by Juve and which had Milan in second place) cannot be stripped only because of the statute of limitations makes it even worse. How can the club retain any credibility with that accusation hanging over their heads? They’ll be seen as the OJ Simpson of Italian football. If Massimo Moratti is convinced of their innocence, then forego the statute of limitations and request a trial, otherwise the presumption of guilt will be there forever.

One thing must be clear, though: if Inter are found guilty and stripped of the 2006 title, let it go unassigned just like the 2004-05 edition. Already there is talk of handing it to the next club down uninvolved in the scandal, which would be fifth-placed Roma. That would be utterly ludicrous and raise further recrimination, so let us simply remove the problem. Those Scudetti were won by Juventus and deserved by absolutely nobody.

Ich hab keine Ahnung was ich von dem Ganzen halten soll.

Einmal ist der schuld, dann wieder der andere. Dann sind wieder alle schuld.

Eines war für mich persönlich immer klar (von 2006 an bis heute): Nie und nimmer waren von den großen Vereinen nur Juve, Milan und Lazio die Schuldigen. Vielen Menschen (wie auch mir) war schon immer klar, dass auch die anderen beiden - nämlich Inter und Roma auch dabei sein müssten.

Natürlich ist mir klar, dass da einer dem anderen alles mögliche vorwirft. Richtig beweisen wird man es wohl kaum jemals können. Es kann mir sicher niemand erzählen, dass am Ende dann Inter, Milan, Juve und Lazio dabei gewesen sein sollen, und die Roma der bravste Verein der Welt gewesen sein soll.

Umso lächerlicher finde ich jetzt Spalletti's Aussagen, dass nun der Titel 2006 an die Roma gehen soll. Ich meine - von mir aus - wenn sie sich darüber freuen, dann bitte - sollen sie den Titel haben. Jeder ist da so geil aufs "Titel-Hinundherschieben" - da wird mir schlecht.

Vor allem - wenn das jetzt modern wird und der Roma wirklich der Titel für 2006 überreicht wird (was ich mir aber nicht vorstellen kann), dann geht das sicher noch weiter. Denn wir fallen dann raus, danach wird Chievo einlenken und den Titel wollen.

Bis wir am Schluss dann soweit sind, dass Messina Meister 2006 ist.

Das einzige was da gehört ist - niemand bekommt den Titel für diese Saison. Was das jedoch für die Vormachtstellung Inters für die darauf folgenden Jahre heißt, kann sich dann auch jeder denken.

Fakt ist jedoch, dass - wie ich schon sagte - es wohl niemals zu RICHTIGE Beweisen und Urteilen kommen wird. Daher muss man am Ende sagen - Inter hats schlau gemacht und sich somit an die Spitze der Serie A sehr leicht katapultiert. Die Scudetti nach 2006 werden Inter mit Sicherheit nicht aberkannt werden.

Lotito meinte auch, dass Lazio da eventuell transferstrategisch noch was ändern wird. Kann mir aber nicht vorstellen, dass wir da wen holen, der uns viel weiterbringt. Wir waren schon sehr aktiv, und viel mehr Kohle haben wir nicht. Vielleicht ist aber der ein oder andere Back-up noch drinnen.

hab was gefunden - keine Ahnung ob das aber stimmt. demnach wird die serie ca. 1 Monat vor Start ausgelost. Demnach also vermutlich so um 20./21.Juli.

Arnautovic über Traumfrau: „Tattoos und Silikonbrüste“

ÖFB-Teamspieler Marko Arnautovic, der regelmäßig nicht nur mit seinen Leistungen auf dem Rasen Schlagzeilen macht, beschreibt im „Seitenblicke Magazin“ (Donnerstag-Ausgabe) seine Traumfrau: „Sie muss tätowiert sein, das steht bei mir an erster Stelle. Und schwarze Haare und Silikonbrüste haben. Außerdem muss sie mich selbstverständlich so nehmen, wie ich bin.“

Seine aktuelle Freundin sei zwar blond, habe aber zumindest Silikonbrüste. Schwer verliebt sei er aber nicht, sagte der bei Werder Bremen unter Vertrag stehende Österreicher. Sein Geld gebe er für „schnelle Autos und coole Kleidung“ aus. Er besitze „zwei Porsche und einen Audi R8“ und hab eine „begehbare Garderobe und allein über 80 Paar Schuhe“.

Der Werder-Star will mit dem "Seitenblicke"-Magazin gar nicht gesprochen haben

Der Fußballer Marko Arnautovic bestreitet auf seiner Homepage, Interviews mit österreichischen Zeitungen geführt zu haben. Das "Seitenblicke Magazin" hat am Mittwoch ein Interview mit dem Werder Bremen-Spieler veröffentlicht, in dem dieser von seiner Traumfrau schwärmt: "Sie muss tätowiert sein, das steht bei mir an erster Stelle. Und schwarze Haare und Silikonbrüste haben", wird Arnautovic darin zitiert.

Am Donnerstag distanzierte er sich über seine Homepage von den Meldungen und weist darauf hin, "dass diese fernab von jeglicher Wahrheit sind". Er habe mit keiner österreichischen Zeitung ein Interview geführt und die Behauptungen seien vollkommen aus der Luft gegriffen, so Arnautovic.

Dem widerspricht die Seitenblicke-Journalistin Vici Mosburger, die das Interview geführt hat: "Wir können jederzeit den Wahrheitsbeweis antreten. Es gibt ein Tonband und zwei Zeugen", sagte sie zur APA.

Aus dem Nichts hat Palermo Präsident Zamparini angekündigt ein neues Stadion zu errichten. Das Stadion wir 35.000 Fans Platz bieten und im Besitz des Vereins sein.

IL NUOVO STADIO - Ha convocato i giornalisti quasi a sorpresa Zamparini che ha incontrato la stampa al seguito della squadra per presentare il nuovo stadio. Non ufficialmente, ma una prima presa di conoscenza con le immagini del progetto che sarà poi presentato ufficialmente a settembre. "Manca solo la parte burocratica e organizzativa - ha spiegato il presidente del Palermo - Con la nuova legge vi sono tanti controlli. In Italia per fare un progetto normale ci vogliono 5 anni, in Austria, per esempio, bastano 3 mesi. A Palermo, tra l'altro, non bisogna pensare ai voti, visto che a breve ci saranno le elezioni, ma alla gente. Lo stadio servirà alla popolazione. Il mio obiettivo è che i palermitani siano contenti del nuovo stadio". Il nuovo impianto porterà dei vantaggio notevoli alla società. "Intanto il patrimonio - ha sottolineato Zamparini - perché lo stadio diventa una garanzia per le banche. Con i giocatori non succede, diventano patrimonio solo quando vengono ceduti. In secondo luogo ci saranno attività per tutta la settimana, la struttura offrirà palestre, centri benessere e altro ancora. Tutto questo porterà altri introiti che permetterà al Palermo di pagare il mutuo. Infine la cubatura, che è un'altra garanzia economica. Sarà uno stadio da 35 mila posti, con tanti servizi".
