Schade, wirklich, schade, dass man nicht die Chance genutzt hat Chelsea mit einer richtigen Packung nach Hause zu schicken. Einfach unfassbar wie lächerlich Abramowitschs Truppe aufgetreten ist. Keine Spur von der so oft gepriesenen und genialen Mourinho-Organisation, nur hinten reinstellen und hoffen, dass Barca zu blöd ist zu treffen, was aber auch leider tatsächlich des öfteren zutraf.

Denn wir ließen einige unglaubliche Chancen aus, Chelsea lud uns teilweise sogar ein sie abzuschießen. Leider Gottes wurde das nicht ausgenützt.

Ich weiß, sie spielten mit 10 Mann usw. aber dennoch kann man von einer Mannschaft mit den Ansprüchen und diesem Ruf erwarten etwas organisierter aufzutreten und nicht wie ein lächerlicher Hühnerhaufen zu wirken. Schade, sie wurden nur wegen der(leider schon die ganze Saison für Barca typischen) eklatanten Abschlusschwäche vor einer Katastrophe bewahrt. Und auch das lag nicht an der (an diesem Abend wirklich nicht vorhandenen) Defensivstärke von Chelsea, sondern allein, wie Rijkaard schon postete, an der Blindheit unserer Offensive. Sogar Mallorca(Cuper-Team,a lsoa uch auf Defensive fixiert) machte letzten Samstag einen besser eingestellten Eindruck als das Chelsea von gestern.

Zum Rückspiel: Denke, dass Barca auch da große Chancen auf den Aufstieg hat. Denn Chelsea wird das Spiel machen und auch aufmachen müssen, um das fehlende Tor zu erzielen, was Barca wegen der Konterchancen sogar viel mehr als der gestrige Antifussball entgegen kommen könnte. Mit einem Tor in London sind wir weiter und ich denke, das ist durchaus möglich.

Chelsea have revealed they are to make a formal complaint to Uefa after an incident at half time during their clash with Barcelona.

The Blues did not send a representative from their coaching staff to attend the post-match press conference after their defeat at Camp Nou, and instead released a statement.

"First of all our apologies that there are no members of the Chelsea management team or players talking after this game," stated spokesperson Simon Greenberg.

"We will be submitting an official complaint to UEFA about an incident that occurred at half time. That's all I can say."

It is believed that The Blues were left incensed by contact between Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard and referee Anders Frisk as the two teams headed up the tunnel at half time.

Undoubtedly Chelsea were far from happy with Frisk's subsequent decision to send Didier Drogba off in the second period, but the exact nature of their complaint is sure to come to light in the near future.

hab zwar nicht alles sehen können (konferenz) aber das was man sah war echt geil.

die rote für drogba geht in ordnung.

das tor von chelsea war 100% KEIN abseits.

ob der sieg nun in ordnung geht oder nicht, kann ich nicht beurteilen, nur am schluss machte barca tempo.

die abwehr von chelsea hat gestern nicht den besten tag erwischt.

Frank Rijkaard told reporters after his team's 2-1 win over Chelsea: "we deserved to win. We put in a great effort to come back from a goal down and we were by far the better team".

Belletti's own goal was clearly against the run of play and Rijkarrd reckoned: "it came just as we were playing really well and we didn't deserve to let a goal in. That's the kind of thing that happens in football , but the players didn't drop the pace of the game and they managed to turn the result around, which I'd take my hat off to them for. The win was a tribute to the whole team's efforts".

Maxi López's entrance in the second half proved decisive and his manager explained: "with the score at 0-1 and them down to 10 men, we figured we needed to make a change that could turn the result around. We chose to put an extra striker on and Maxi didn't let us down".

"I'm proud"

Rijkaard went on: "I feel proud of my team and proud to have played my part too. This was a game between two teams at the top of their leagues and my heart was really out there with the players tonight".

Surprise

As to the Chelsea party's refusal to speak to the press after the game, Rijkaard expressed his surprise, but insisted: "There were no incidents between us. I think their reaction is over the top. I was around at half time and at the end of the game and I saw nothing unusual. I think they realised that there was too much hype before the game and too much talking after it , but I'm surprised that they've come up with this now".

Barcelona boss Frank Rijkaard is baffled as to Chelsea's reasons for filing a complaint for an incident during the game at Camp Nou.

It has been suggested that Blues boss Jose Mourinho was left fuming after Rijkaard spoke to match official Anders Frisk at half time.

Rijkaard admits he spoke to Frisk, but insists he has no idea why Chelsea would be so upset at the exchange as it was entirely innocent.

"I can't tell you what happened that upset so much Mourinho," Rijkaard told Sky Sports.

"I was there, I talked with the ref, and the reaction of the Chelsea side was kind of exaggerated.

"I talked with the ref in a really polite and friendly manner, and they were upset about that so they started things.

"For me nothing happened, if something happened it is because they got upset maybe with me talking with the ref, I don't know.

"I don't understand the fuss about it.

"I'm curious as to what their complaint will be. Let's wait and see."

So ist, bei mir hat dieser Verein, vor allem durch seinen Gönner und sein arrogantes Trainer-Genie, auch schon ungefähr das Level von Real erreicht. Wie schon oben gepostet, einfach lächerlich diese Aktion.

Übrigens ein genialer Fall von Ironie, dass ausgerechnet Maxi für die Niederlage von Abramowitschs Lieblingsspielzeug verantwortlich ist.

Further statement on tunnel incident

Chelsea Football Club has denied reports of any physical confrontation in the Barcelona tunnel last night, Wednesday, and released a fresh statement.

It says: “Following Chelsea's statement after the Barcelona match last night, it is being reported through various media outlets that an incident occurred between José Mourinho and a member of the Barcelona coaching staff. This incident did not happen and Chelsea can therefore confirm that this will not form part of our report to UEFA which is currently being prepared.”

No indication is being given of what will form part of that report, but it is believed it will concern Barcelona manager Frank Rijkaard and referee Anders Frisk and no more.

Following the first leg of the Carling Cup semi-final José Mourinho expressed his surprise in the media at how a manager could talk in the tunnel to a referee at half-time and make protestations which can influence him in the second-half.

hehe, sensationell, ich akzeptiere gerne meinungen, nur müsstest du mitbekommen haben dass ich chelsea UND barca fan bin. ich stell mich hier nur 100% hinter chelsea weil der spanien channel sowieso fest in katalanischer hand ist und deswegen die meinungen auch sehr sehr einseitig sind. wenn schon im vorfeld behauptet wird chelsea spielt wie ein hühnerhaufen und sie haben nur glück, dann möcht ich sie eben da verteidigen weil dies nunmal nicht der wahrheit entspricht. ich bleibe dabei: jeder andere gegner hätte gestern eine packung bekommen, nur chelsea hat die räume innen eng gemacht...das argument dass die chelsea iv nicht den besten tag hatte mag stimmen, ist dann aber hier nur noch nachteiliger für barcelona - sie hätten einafach mehr tore machen müssen. und genau daran sind sie an der taktischen disziplin und raumauslegung von chelsea gescheitert und nicht an pech (ausgenommen der schuss den lampard mit dem kopf vor der linie kratzte, der hätte wohl gepasst - aba selbiges glück hatte ja barca wie schon oft erwähnt auch bei drogbas chance)

sein gesicht hat er verloren wenn chelsea ausscheidet, dass ist noch nicht der fall, denn das 1:2 hilft momentan in der papierform chelsea mehr als barca.

Naja sie hatten a paar Chancen wo die Chelsea abwehr nix mehr machen hätte können, wenn eben derjenige Spieler den Ball troffen hätte.So wie bei die 2te chance von Maxi (den er endlich mal gebracht hat).. wenn er nach dieser Roanldinho flanke den Fuss besser unter den Ball kriegt, dann hängt sie.da hätte die Abwehr nix ausrichten können.

Chelsea could face Uefa action for Jose Mourinho refusing to attend the post-match press conference after their defeat in Barcelona.

A furious Mourinho refused to talk to any of the media after their 2-1 loss at Camp Nou on Wednesday night, amidst claims that he was upset at counterpart Frank Rijkaard talking to referee Anders Frisk at half time.

Mourinho has strong feelings on this subject, as he vented his anger that Sir Alex Ferguson had words with a referee during their Carling Cup semi-final.

Chelsea issued a statement after the match saying that they would file a report to Uefa about the goings on in the tunnel at half time - where it is even being claimed in Spain that Rijkaard kicked Mourinho.

Although Chelsea will be sending Uefa a report, a spokesman for European football's governing body says that The Blues could be in trouble for not attending the press conference.

William Gaillard also says that they had observers in the tunnel area and they had reported no such incidents.

"We are puzzled," said Gaillard. "We have had no contact from Chelsea.

"The situation last night as far as we are concerned was rather normal.

"We had people in the dressing room area, probably more people than normal, and they didn't notice anything going on. We are rather surprised.

"But it was a perfectly calm game with excellent crowd behaviour and we do not understand the Chelsea decision (not to attend press conference).

"We will certainly ask them. It is a violation of the rules."

"I wouldn't want to speculate on that but it is obvious the kind of sanctions teams can incur are in terms of fines."
