Walcott hat das ganz ordentlich gemacht in der Mitte. Was mir gestern auch gut gefallen hat, war unser Flügelspiel, vor allem Podolski hat einiges über den linken Flügel gebracht, auch das 2:0 per Flanke aufgelegt.

bei allen Lob darf man auch nicht vergessen das es nur Reading war.. jetzt heisst es mal Konstanz reinbringen und Klasse beweisen.

Ich sehs in übrigen sehr positiv das Walcott in der Mitte spielen durfte und damit ev. eine Verlängerung in Raum steht.

Reading machte uns gestern sehr leicht. Da hat es uns AVilla und Swansea viel schwieriger gemacht. So viel Raum und Platz wie gestern hatten wir schon lange nicht.

Daher auch das gsd eindeutige Ergebnis.

ja stimmt, die Auslosung ist diesesmal am Donnerstag. Sonst wurde sie ja immer am Freitag gemacht, was mir auch lieber wäre (heim von da Arbeit und gleich schauen )

find ich auch unfassbar, wie man auf Auslosung Barca über 1.5 anbieten kann

Dear Arsenal supporter,

The target on Monday night was to win and we beat Reading in a convincing way.

We have been criticised but the only way to respond is on the pitch. We did that and success came with the quality of our game. We played our game and didn't bother about the rest. We focused on the quality of our game and there was some continuity from our performance against West Brom.

I played Theo Walcott through the middle and, if you look at my statements two years ago, I always said he would play there. I felt it was a good opportunity to do it on Monday night because, from what I've seen in training, I thought Theo was ready to do it.

As for the team, our ambition is to finish as high as we can and win our next game. That's all we can do - that and focus on the quality of our football. Our game is based on movement and technical quality and that demands freedom of initiative. Of course that suffers a little bit sometimes when things are not going so well.

We have had a difficult spell but I don't complain because, in our job, you need to be mentally strong. Therefore it's always a test when you're in a position like we were in.

I just wanted to say that, in 16 years, we have lost one time against a team from a lower division. Our cup record in the last 16 years is still the best on this front, compared to any other team in England. We were of course not happy with what happened at Bradford, and we were disillusioned. But we gave our answer at Reading.

Our run in the Premier League has not been bad recently because we had beaten Tottenham, we had gone to Villa and Everton - two difficult places to go. After that we had one poor game, against Swansea.

Then we beat West Brom and now we have gone to Reading and won. We've only lost one of our last seven Premier League games. So that run is not fantastic, but not disastrous either.

er hat schon recht, wir haben nur eins der letzten sieben Spiele in der BPL verloren, dazwischen war halt auch noch Piräus, und da kommen einem die Niederlagen einfach gehäuft vor.

und es ist ja schön und gut, dass wir in 16 Jahren nur einmal verloren haben, aber in Zukunft kann man sich halt nichts davon kaufen.
