FULHAM have the opportunity of completing an unlikely double over the defending champions Manchester United when the pair go head to head at Loftus Road, a week ahead of their FA Cup Quarter-final meeting at Old Trafford. This clash pits the lowest attended club in the Premiership against the highest, and sees the return to West London of last month's £12.8 million pound signing Louis Saha.

The Cottagers. whose highest Premiership finish is 13th, are currently sitting in ninth - their lowest placing since September. They're two points outside a Uefa Cup spot and six points below fourth place. The midweek 0-3 win at West Ham in a FA Cup fifth round replay was their first victory in five games. Chris Coleman's side have lost their last two League encounters, both by a 2-1 scoreline, at home to Villa and away to Wolves - where Manchester United also lost.

MANCHESTER UNITED head to west London eager to avenge their 1-3 defeat in the reverse fixture in October. Steed Malbranque led a stunning smash and grab raid as the Cottagers sunk the champions for the first time in 39 years, while a fuming Sir Alex Ferguson served the first of a two match touchline ban.

The Red Devils need a victory to silence the critics who see them as a fading force with midweek defeat and a red card for Roy Keane in the Champions League at FC Porto, while in the top division ten points have been dropped from the last six games, and only one point claimed against the bottom two.

In all, United have dropped 21 points so far with 12 matches to play. When they won the title in 1999/2000 they only dropped 23 in the entire campaign. They go into this match seven points behind leaders Arsenal, but the Gunners have only won one more match (19 to United's 18) and scored one more goal (51 to 50). 1 Stunde ist noch bis zum Match, die offizielle Aufstellung habe ich leider noch nicht in Erfahrung gebracht. Ich hoffe nur das Wes (falls er heute spielt) mal einen guten Tag hat, sonst seh ich hinten schwarz.
