Ich denke es wird ein enges Duell. Wichtig wird ein gutes Ergebnis auswärts (nona), im idealerweise mit ein, zwei Auswärtstoren.

Mich interessiert eigentlich mehr, wie sie Boilesen ersetzen werden. Poulsen als ZM wäre einfach sehr , aber den Gefallen werden sie uns nicht tun.

Danke für's zusammenschreiben... alleine schon wegen der Überheblichkeit dieser Fans wäre ein 3:0-Auswärtssieg (nach wie vor mein Tipp) extremst geil! Zumindest von diesen Fans nimmt uns kaum einer ernst... wenn es bei der Mannschaft von Ajax nur annähernd so ist, könnte es für sie eine dicke Überraschung geben...

Hey guys, an Ajax fan from Amsterdam here, hope that's okay just wanted to chat with you guys before the match next thursday.

Me and my friends are really looking forward going to the ArenA again, it has been too long since i've been to a European match.

Let me say, that although at first a lot of Ajax support was positive about the draw against RBS, nowadays the mood is a little bit different. Our matches aren't that brilliant as it was against Barcelona (which was pretty brilliant). I think the main issue with Ajax fans is that we still see ourselves as the top of Europe while ( unfortunatley) we are not anymore. SO I guess within the support there may still be a little bit underestimating. BUT you won;t see that at the Ajax players (hopefully) because FdB will watch for that.

Again, really looking forward to thursdays match and hopefully it will be an exciting game (with us having the victory in the end haha)

It will be a pretty interesting match.

A lot will depend on how Ajax will be able to deal with RBS's pressing. We scored 73(?) goals in 22 matches but you can't really compare austrian clubs with a team like Ajax.

It sure will be a great match, i think everything is possible, from a 0-3 to a 3-0.

btw i disagree with your last sentence, i would appreciate a RBS win much more

Those are pretty impressive numbers. I also see that you have a lot of points (17) more than nr 2. This is really an advantage for you because you can focus more on the EL, while we have to keep in mind future Eredivisie matches.

Just curious: what happened to Austria Vienna? Weren't they champions last year?

Dont really know what happened to them. Just got really bad, coach was unemployed few days ago.

btw we were really unlucky against fenerbahce in cl qualification match.

We had like 23/24 chances and scored 1 goal. But this weakness has been vanished. Against Grödig(2nd place) we had like 8 chances and scored 6 goals.

We heard ajax isn't playing too well at the moment? ok 3-0 against heerenveen(sorry if missspelled) but only 1-1 against zwolle. And Boilesen seems to be injured, who does normally replace him?

About the weakness of missing chances: this is exactly our problem.

Last couple of matches we could have been 3-0 at half time but missed an awful lot of chances.. even some open goal chances. Especially our captian de Jong who has been recovered just recently hasn't really picked up his old form.

Other than that, it's pretty solid. Clubs don't score easily against us, especially at home which is really a fortress. Also, we haven't lost a match since Ajax - Celtic which we won 1-0.

Boilesen is made of glass and will problably not play. Usually FdB uses three players to fill up his place: Daley Blind (who will leave cdm, being replaced by Poulsen which normally is a quality loss) , Riedewald (who is a talent but really young, but not be the best idea) or Duarte which is a right foot and not really suited to be a left back. Against teams playing 4-4-2 its okay. I dont know the system that RBS is playing but I guess its 4-4-2 (because most teams play this way nowadays)?

We play a very aggresive 4-2-2-2 (i hope i'm not wrong^^) with the two stars Kampl and Manè as wingers.

They are really hard to defend. Are there any teams in the eredivese(?) who play a really aggresive pressing?

Our team will probably start attacking very early, and when ajax isn't used to it it'll be interessting how they react.

Bayern was also taken by complete surprise 'cause of our strong pressing.

We also never lost in the last 27 league home games. ^^

Austria:

They have been playing better in the last season, as they are really. They have been in a very positive run, they won even the bad games, as i remember there have been lots of 1:0 in the autumn.

This season they play with nearly the same team . . .

Now they say, they have been bad in the championship, because they had the difficult games in CampionsLeague, but anyway, we will see now in spring time, because they left CL

To Ajax:

I think Ajax is the favorite, but we have small chances to get in the next round.

I'm afraid of the reaction, if we pass out, because it's a common autrian behaviour: Before the game, we are the World Champion, After the game we are the poor looser and everybody has known it before. Thanks on this way to the austrian Media (Television/Radio/Newspaper). PS: This meaning points only on the media, I think our fans have much respect on Ajax, but at the moment I think the most think a little to positive, but me is always more negative, but glad, if it gets good.

Volgens het Algemeen Dagblad wordt vandaag door de technische staf van Ajax een beslissing genomen omtrent het meespelen van Nicolai Boilesen en Thulani Serero tegen Red Bull Salzburg. Volgens het dagblad is de kans groter dat Serero meespeelt dan Boilesen, met de jonge Deen zou Ajax geen enkel risico willen nemen.

Nach dem Algemeen Dagblad ist heute eine Entscheidung des technischen Personals von Ajax auf das Spiel von Nicolai Boilesen und Thulani Serero gegen Red Bull Salzburg übernommen. Nach Angaben der Zeitung ist wahrscheinlicher als Boilesen Serero spielen zusammen mit dem jungen Dänen Ajax möchte, um keine Risiken einzugehen.

Was auch immer das heißen mag
