Welcome here, will be great to have another demanding clash with a Belgian team after pairing Anderlecht in 2007 and Brugge in 2005 respectively. What kind of attendance do you expect for the Group stage games? Unfortunately we will have to play at our national stadium again (Ernst Happel-Stadium), which isn't a football stadium per se and, more important, our record over there is tremendously crap Any questions about our team, feel free to ask

We got a stadium capacity of 25000 (with standing area, but those will be closed I think).

Unfortunately - it's a bad habbit in Genk - there are too many fans who do not attend the games when they are not attractive enough... I hate those fans We got 5000 fans yesterday against Icelandic FH Hafnarfjordür. I expect there to be at least 12000 fans. If fans think it's attractive enough, maybe we get 18000-19000 fans. In belgian championship we usually got around 20000 fans to attend our games.

Anderlecht & Bruges are our rivals We are a Top 5 club in our country with 7 national prices in 15 years. Our club started in 1988 (25 years). Anderlecht plays CL, Bruges play NOTHING (muhahaha).

Maybe I will come to Wien, it depends from the price for bus.. How is the city? Do you recommend some places? Is there any rivality (Do I say this right?)?

thanks a lot. its the same situation for us like the last year in leverkusen. leverkusen is a boring city so everyone went to cologne because its next to leverkusen.

how many fans of genk do you think come to vienna ?

Ah Leverkusen. We've been there too in CL. Those bus parking spots under the bridge, and then we had to go directly to the stadium. Nothing to do

When you come to Genk, drink enough in the city, because I think stadium is alcohol-free beer.

What's the capacity for visitors? If the away-game is do-able with car/bus we usually have enough fans !

We got 4000 fans at Chelsea some seasons ago, 5000 at Leverkusen Luzern & Basel about 2000 I think. Do you guys want some photos from our europe away games? If you want to, i'll search for some.

Record in this case means games played/games won/lost... we are quite crap playing in this stadium, at least in the last few years.

Vienna is extraordinary... I'd strongly recommend to stay for longer than just the match, you wouldn't regret it For recommendations, just google the Wikipedia page of Vienna.

Our arch rivals are Austria Vienna, who, unfortunately for us, just made it into the group stages of the Champions League. We're by far more popular than them, still it could take a way a decent amount of spectators who would rather watch Champions than Europa League. We will have to wait and see... but, one group stage game aside, we usually had 45,000-50,000 attendance during our last three outings.
