1. Kulturen beeinflussen sich natürlich gegenseitig, von daher ist es einfach ignorant German Hip Hop einfach mal als schlecht abzustempeln.

2. Es ist extrem wichtig, den Text zu verstehen, es sind so viele Wortspiele, Anspielungen, Referenzen, Stories drinnen, die, den conscious Rap von den idiotischen Gangsterrappern unterscheiden. Wenn ich nicht auf den Text hören will, dann wähle ich einen Rapper, mit den besten Beats und einem guten Flow, so wie Booba und dreh die Boxen auf. Conscious Rap ist aber mehr als das und du verpasst einiges, wenn du dich nicht mit den Lyrics beschäftigst. Der Text ist Kunst.

By the way, Mos Def ist zurück (wegen dem Black on Both Sides Tipp), sein Album The Ecstatic war eines der besten, wenn nicht sogar das beste Rap Album des Jahres 2009.
