Noch ist dies allerdings nur ein Zwischenstand, denn das Voting läuft noch bis zum Ende des Monats und noch haben nicht alle Journalisten abgestimmt.

Wäre aber eine tolle Auszeichnung für Trent. Keiner der anderen Jungs stand mit 19 in einem CL-Finale.

Jurgen Klopp has named his favourite moment at Anfield from his time in charge of Liverpool, and opted against picking one of the epic matches in last season's run to the Champions League final.

And when he was asked to name his favourite Anfield moment from his time in charge, Klopp recalled a match which many fans cite as the one which got them to believe that he was the right man for the job.

Liverpool were 3-1 down on aggregate to Borussia Dortmund in the Europa League quarter-final in April 2016, and then after Divock Origi pulled a goal back, a Marco Reus strike left the Reds needing three goals in just over half an hour.

Philippe Coutinho and Mamadou Sakho grabbed two of those, and then Dejan Lovren headed home in front of the Kop in stoppage time to send the home fans wild.

"My favourite Anfield moment so far is the moment when Dejan Lovren scored the fourth goal against Dortmund," Klopp told New Balance Football in a Q&A with Liverpool's kit manufacturer.

"To be 100 per cent honest it was a special day for me, a special day for the team and the best atmosphere we have had so far."

In another part of the Q&A Klopp was asked what he loves most about Liverpool, and he gave a simple answer.

"The football club! It's easy!"

Ich habe das Spiel auf Puls 4 gesehen, mit der Live-Analyse vom Jonny Ertl (= Klopp-Fan & LFC-Sympathisant). War auch ein tolles, unvergessliches Event.

Breaking News: Sadio Mane hat sich mit dem LFC auf eine Vertragsverlängerung geeinigt. Der 26jährige Flügelspieler wird sich weitere 5 Jahre an die Reds binden.
