Laut denen wechselt ja auch der Riki für 6 Mio. € zu Parma!

Juve confirm Gallas interest

Juventus supremo Luciano Moggi has admitted that Chelsea defender William Gallas is a player that interests the Serie A giants.

Gallas, who is never slow in letting his Stamford Bridge bosses know that he is not happy, is being strongly linked with a move away from The Blues this summer and Juve are now said to be heading the queue of clubs looking to land him.

Juve are looking for a new defender, particularly one who can play on the right, and they are now looking at Gallas. Their need for a new stopper intensified when they missed out on Wily Sagnol, who opted to remain with Bayern Munich, and following Jonathan Zebina's hint he wanted to quit Turin.

Moggi has now confirmed that the Bianconeri are likely to make a move for the French international. "Gallas is a player we have admired for a long time," Moggi is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror. "Juventus are club that are interested only in great players." Another name on Juve's list of potential targets is Ajax's Czech ace Zdenek Grygera - who has been recommended to the club by he fellow countryman Pavel Nedved.

There are strong reports that Marco Materazzi has requested a transfer, but Inter patron Massimo Moratti is refusing to release him.

“Talk of a move away from Inter for Materazzi is completely unfounded,” explained the oil baron on the official club website.

The Italian Press maintains that the defender wants a move to Fiorentina, Lazio or Milan in order to play more first team football ahead of the 2006 World Cup.

The arrival this season of Walter Samuel has pushed him on to the sidelines, as the fan favourite has made just 13 Serie A appearances this season.

It’s claimed he has asked to terminate his contract early, enabling a free transfer to one of the interested parties, but economically the deal would not suit Inter. His deal currently runs until 2009 and it would cost approximately £5.4m to cut it short.

There are also fears that the Nerazzurri will end up strengthening their rivals for the Scudetto, as Fabio Cannavaro’s move to Juventus is still fresh in the memory.

“I have no regrets about that sale,” insisted Moratti after handing the experienced defender over to the Bianconeri in exchange for goalkeeper Fabian Carini. The Uruguayan is currently warming the bench at Cagliari.

“Cannavaro and Ivan Cordoba are similar players and, unfortunately for him, Fabio didn’t get to play very much in his time here. We kept Cordoba, Marco Materazzi and Walter Samuel, so despite the fact I like him as a person, I don’t miss Cannavaro at Inter.”

juventus manager luciano moggi ist immer mehr an gallas interessiert, und möchte den chelsea spieler unter vertrag...ein weiterer spieler-womöglich als nedved ersatz-soll auch von ajax amsterdam kommen,zdenek grygera...
