Vidic...da war doch mal was. War vor etwa 5 Jahren bei Parma im Gespräch als man noch zu den Sette Sorelle gehörte, ist aber damals nichts draus geworden. Wär interessant zu wissen wie sich der entwickelt hat.

Was ich so gehört habe, hat der sich prächtig entwickelt, gilt mittlerweile wohl als der beste Verteidiger in Russland und hat ja auch einen Stammplatz in der serbischen Nationalmannschaft.

Er wird aber wahrscheinlich noch sehr lange in Russland spielen, da Spartak alle Angebote anderer Klubs(zuletzt Aston Villa[boten ca. 5 Millionen] und Fiorentina[6 Millionen Euro]) kategorisch ablehnt und Übersummen(wie auch bei ihren anderen interessanten Spielern, Stichwort Cavenaghi) fordert. Und sie können sichs leisten, da sie auf Grund der Ölmillionen ihres "Sponsors" Lukoil auf Transfererlöse nicht angewiesen sind.

Ganz genau, um ehrlich zu sein, gibt es keine bessere Stürmermischung als Del Piero - Trezeguet. Diese beiden sind perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt und würde zusammen die meisten Tore aller Sturmpaare machen, wenn sie konstannt über die ganz Saison zusammen beginnen würden.

Die Saison 01/02 (die Comeback Saison von Lippi) werde ich nie vergessen. Del Piero (16) und Trezeguet (24) schossen zusammen 40 der 64 Tore (glaube das stimmt) von Juventus. Außerdem legten sie sich die Tore zum größten Teil gegenseitig auf.

Bayern Munich midfielder Ze Roberto’s contract expires at the end of the season and if reports are to be believed his next destination may be Serie A.

Inter have been linked with the Brazilian for some time and it would appear that in the last few hours Juventus have also shown an interest in the former Bayer Leverkusen star.

The bianconeri always like a bargain and they (like Inter) are also said to be in the hunt for Michael Ballack who is available for free as well next summer.

With Willy Sagnol also linked with Turin it could be that next season there will be a significant former-Bayern contingent in the Juve squad.

Zu Juve kommt er GsD ziemlich sicher nicht, was er bei Inter soll weiß ich auch nicht so recht...

Milan ponder Lauren option

Milan are reportedly looking at bringing Arsenal defender Lauren to the San Siro next season.

With the Rossoneri rearguard in need of wholesale rejuvenation, Lauren has been identified as a possible replacement for Marcos Cafu - who is approaching his 36th birthday and almost certainly in his last year at the club.

Lauren has a wealth of European and international experience and Milan have been keeping close tabs on the 28-year-old, whose consistency and determination is highly valued by Coach Carlo Ancelotti.

The latter has also been linked with emerging Azzurri stars Massimo Oddo of Lazio and Cristian Zaccardo of Palermo, but is seriously contemplating an approach for the Cameroon ace, whose contract expires in 2007.

The Spanish-born right-back, who can also play in midfield, has been a key figure for Arsenal Coach Arsène Wenger during his five years at the club and has appeared in the Premier League Team of the Year on three occasions.

Juventus target Palermo pair

Juventus and Palermo are in negotiations over a double-deal that would see Andrea Barzagli and Simone Barone head to Turin.

Barzagli (pictured) and Barone are both emerging talents who have earned international recognition with Marcello Lippi’s Azzurri side and have caught the eye of Juve Coach Fabio Capello.

Don Fabio is said to have already ‘booked’ Barzagli in for next season, while Barone has been identified as the solution to a Bianconeri midfield back-up problem that neither Manuele Blasi nor Giuliano Giannichedda have managed to cure.

The 27-year-old would not come cheap, though, given that Palermo paid £2.4m to Parma for the midfielder’s services. His stock having since risen after winning caps for Italy, Barone is now said to worth somewhere in the region of £4.75m.

Juventus, though, are discussing a player-plus-cash deal with Blasi and Antonio Mirante - whose on-loan performances in goal for Siena this term have attracted the interest of Rosanero Coach Luigi Del Neri - going in the opposite direction.

The Sicilian side are keen on acquiring the shot-stopper as early as January, but with La Vecchia Signora having promised Siena they can keep Mirante until the end of the season, the double-deal is unlikely to take place until the summer.
