Langsam wirds ja beinahe kurios!

Zuerst Kovac, dann Sagnol, und jetzt Ballack!??? Was kommt als nächstes, Ze Roberto????

Ballack linked to Juve move

Bayern Munich’s recent anger towards Juventus, for their ‘Mafioso’ approach to transfer dealings, appears to have gained added justification with suggestions that Michael Ballack could be on his way to Turin.

Bayern chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently declared that he would no longer have any dealings with Juve general director Luciano Moggi, whom he likened to the ‘Mafia’ for his alleged flouting of FIFA regulations.

Moggi managed to acquire Robert Kovac from Bayern for free last season and has also persuaded full-back Willy Sagnol to join Juve when his contract with the German champions runs out in the summer.

Now it appears that Rummenigge’s anger towards Moggi is rooted in the suspicion that the Bianconeri have been working behind the scenes during recent weeks in order to sign Michael Ballack, when his deal expires in June.

Ballack has refused the Bavarian outfit’s offer of a lucrative new contract and is said to be weighing up his options – which include possible moves to Inter, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Juventus.

Under FIFA regulations no clubs are allowed to approach players individually until they are six months from the end of their playing contracts, which means that the Germany captain cannot enter into negotiations with any club until January 1 – unless Bayern agree to a formal approach beforehand.

However, the Italian Press has suggested that Juve’s interest in Sagnol has really been a smokescreen for an ulterior motive – namely, the capture of the 29-year-old midfielder.

To add insult to injury, Sebastien Deisler and Ze Roberto are two more Bayern players who will be available for nothing at the end of the season and whom are said to be coveted by Juve Coach Fabio Capello.

Reals kanns nicht lassen!......

Real to dive in for Buffon

Not content with making eyes at Juve Coach Fabio Capello, Real Madrid are now intent on luring Gianluigi Buffon to the Bernebeu, according to reports in Italy.

Real Madrid have struggled to keep goals out again this term and, after two under-performing seasons, seem to have decided to look at the problem area of their defence.

Although Ilker Casillas has signed a new deal with Los Meringues until 2011, Real are said to be willing to use him as a make-weight in a swap move involving the Italy No 1.

Buffon has long been regarded as the best goalkeeper in the world and the Bianconeri would be reluctant to offload the man who became the world’s most expensive shot-stopper when they signed him from Parma for £33m in July 2001.

However, selling Gigi may not be completely out of the question for Juventus, who run a very tight ship in terms of their finances.

Buffon has yet to make a League appearance this season due to a shoulder injury that has restricted him to one indifferent Coppa Italia display.

Yet Juventus have taken Serie A by storm in his absence, winning 14 matches out of 15, coasting into a 10-point lead in the table and winning their Champions League group stage.

It also remains to be seen whether the 27-year-old will ever fully recover from the dislocated shoulder that he sustained in the pre-season Berlusconi Cup in August.

Buffon himself has been taking a notably long time to return to first-team action and suggested that he is struggling mentally to get back to his old self again.

"I still have a few psychological issues to deal with and I am not physically 100 per cent fit either," he confessed recently.

It could be argued that with Juve doing very well without their first-choice guardian between the posts, and if the price is right, now could be the time to cash in on him.

Real are said to be ready to offer £27m, or a cash plus Casillas deal, to tempt director general Luciano Moggi to part with their star ‘keeper.

Such money would go a long way to bolstering Juve’s coffers, helping to finance future transfer operations and funding their new stadium reconstruction plans.

Parma: Cejas, Ruopolo, Di Vaio

Rafael Sobis (20) _Brasilien_ - Angriff - Internacional Porto Alegre

Milan turn to £10m Chivu

Source: Football Italia

Milan are looking to resolve their defensive difficulties by raiding Roma for Cristian Chivu, according to reports in Italy.

Chivu has been with the Giallorossi since the summer of 2003 and has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract, but Milan are prepared to shell out on the right player to plug the gaps in their creaking defence.

The Romanian is still only 25 years old but has a wealth of experience after making his name with Ajax at an early age.

He is also a versatile defender who can play at both full-back and in central defence.

Chivu suggested that he would be prepared to move on when he jumped to the defence of Fabio Capello last month, after the former Roma Coach was publicly criticised by Francesco Totti.

"Capello brought me to Italy and I would like to team up with him again," he said at the time.

"I must thank him because the fact that I am here is also down to him. When it comes to Capello, all you have to do is look at the number of League titles he has won."

However, Milan could now lure Chivu to the San Siro with a bid of £10m – a fee that the cash-strapped club from the capital would have difficulty in turning down, especially after the lesson they have learnt with regard to Antonio Cassano, for whom they will struggle to recoup much of their £20m outlay.

With Paolo Maldini, Marcos Cafu and Billy Costacurta out injured and approaching the twilight of their careers, Milan know that reinforcements are badly required in order to rebuild their ageing side.

The arrival of Chivu in January would also strengthen their Champions League challenge as the Resita-born left-back is eligible to play in the competition, having only appeared in the UEFA Cup with the Giallorossi this season.
