Weiß man schon was wer beginnen wird?

:nervoes:

oi! gorgeous! what's your name?

BIG-MATCH FACTS

MANCHESTER UNITED against Leeds pits the defending champions against the financially-beleaguered west Yorkshire club. It's top-but-one against bottom-but-one. The title-chasing Red Devils with just five Premiership defeats all season against the relegation-haunted Whites, with just five Premiership victories all season. The club who've won nine and lost two League games at the Theatre of Dreams against the side who've won two and lost nine away from Elland Road.

Sir Alex Ferguson's men hit back from the shock 2-3 home defeat by Middlesbrough with a spirited 4-2 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup last weekend, despite the dismissal of Gary Neville. Now they're chasing a third victory this season over Leeds, and aiming to at least maintain and possibly close the five point gap on Arsenal. Both clubs have lunchtime kick-offs, but this is United's fourth engagement at 1230 GMT on a Saturday afternoon in the last six weekends.

The Red Devils have won three of their last four Premiership meetings with Leeds and have lost only one of the last 12. They put in an unconvincing display in the reverse fixture but still won, thanks to a Roy Keane winner nine minutes from time. It gives the champions the chance of a third Premiership double over Leeds and ninth over them since the first League meeting in 1923.

LEEDS UNITED halted a seven-match losing run in League and Cup with a 4-1 home victory over fellow strugglers Wolves last time out - Leeds' only points from the last available 21.

They travel to Old Trafford with just goal difference separating them from the bottom rung, three points from safety, and on a four-match losing run on the road. They also suffered a 3-2 defeat after extra time in the third round of the Worthington Cup with Roque Junior bagging a brace.

Leeds are still hunting their first Premiership victory at the Theatre of Dreams. Their only win in 19 visits (17 in the League) over nearly 25 years was 0-1 in the old First Division on 28 February, 1981.

BIG-MATCH FACTS

CHELSEA and Arsenal renew hostilities at Stamford Bridge, six days after Arsenal's 2-1 victory in the FA Cup at Highbury.

The Gunners are the Blues bogey team. They have not beaten Arsenal in any competition in over five years. Since thrashing a below strength Gunners outfit 0-5 at home in the Worthington Cup on 11 November 1998, Chelsea have lost 10 and drawn five League and Cup meetings with them. In the Premiership, the Stamford Bridge side have found Arsenal their most difficult of all opponents to conquer. They've lost nine of the last 16 encounters, and drawn the other seven.

Chelsea have drawn their last three home League games against Arsenal and not won in seven corresponding fixtures, since the 1-0 success on 30 September 1995 when Mark Hughes scored the winner.

ARSENAL are defending a five point lead at the summit, a 27 match Premiership unbeaten run, a club record 25 game sequence without defeat from the start of a League season and the record streak without defeat in a single Premiership season. They're on course for a Premiership, Champions League and FA Cup treble, having ended Chelsea's dreams of a similar treble last weekend. The Gunners are bidding for a sixth successive League win - Chelsea, a fourth.

Both these clubs have accumulated eight more points than their previous best after 25 games of a Premiership season. Eight red cards have been brandished in eight years of competition between these London rivals. If Claudio Ranieri is to record his first win over Arsene Wenger in 12 attempts and half the six point difference between these top three clubs, then Chelsea must repeat their feat of 1990/91 when Arsenal built their previous record unbeaten start to a League campaign. On that occasion, the Gunners' run was brought to an abrupt halt in the 24th match, which happened to have been at the Bridge when Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners, on 2 February 1991.

Arsenal are aiming to make 17 Premiership London derbies with Chelsea without defeat. The extended the run to 16 with a 2-1 victory in the reverse fixture in October when a horrendous blunder from keeper Carlo Cuducini gifted Thierry Henry the winner and ended Chelsea's unbeaten start to the campaign. The Gunners are now on course for their fourth Premiership 'double' over the Blues and tenth League 'double' over them since they first met in 1907.

SEQUENCES/RECENT FORM

CHELSEA

3rd 55 points

Highest achievable after Saturday's games: 2nd

Dropped 20 points so far this season (Arsenal have dropped 14). Won 17 top flight games (Arsenal have won 18). Drawn four times in the top league. Only Manchester United (twice) and Spurs (three times) have finished level less often. Lost four matches in the highest League. Only Arsenal, who've lost none, can beat that. Scored 46 League goals. Arsenal and Manchester United are the only clubs to have bagged more Premiership goals (49 each). Kept an unsurpassed 14 clean sheets in the top division. The Gunners have managed 10. Kept back-to-back clean sheets in the League. Their 46 goals have been netted by 14 different players. Only Blackburn have a similar number of scorers in this top flight campaign. Need to score twice to total 400 all-time goals in home Premier League matches. Scored 11 Premiership goals in the last quarter-hour. Following this, its trips to VfB Stuttgart in the Champions League and Manchester City (PL). Then the home leg with Stuttgart, a League visit to Bolton and a west London derby home to Fulham.

1st 61 points

Lowest could fall:

Lead at the summit reduced to two points

Won the last five Premiership games against Middlesbrough (h), Aston Villa (a), Manchester City (h), Wolves (a) and Southampton (h). Last won six consecutive Premiership games between the end of last season and beginning of this - beating Southampton and Sunderland last May and then Everton, Middlesbrough, Villa and Manchester City in August. Lost just twice in 46 Premiership matches, winning 30 of them. Won eight top flight games on the road this season. Chelsea and Manchester United have won more than any other club (nine each). Arsenal and Chelsea are joint top scorers in away top tier encounters (25 goals each). Conceded fewer goals on their Premiership travels than any other club (eight). Failed to score twice in the League this season. Chelsea have failed three times. Achieved five 'doubles' so far over Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Wolves and Southampton. One of four clubs to have hit the woodwork nine times in Premiership matches this season. After this its a Champions League visit to Celta Vigo and PL home game with Charlton. Then the FA Cup Quarter-final, followed by a League visit to Blackburn.

KEY PLAYER NOTES/POTENTIAL MILESTONES

CHELSEA

Jimmy Floyd HASSELBAINK needs one goal to total 100 in the Premiership. The Dutchman will become the 12th player to achieve the century of Premiership goals and third foreign player following Dwight Yorke and Thierry Henry. HASSELBAINK has scored six Premiership goals against Arsenal. If between the sticks from the opening whistle, Carlo CUDUCINI will be making his 150th start for Chelsea. Should he play a part, Neil SULLIVAN will be making his 250th career League appearance.

ARSENAL

If Dennis BERGKAMP plays, he will set a new record for most appearances by a foreigner for a single club in the Premiership. The Holland International will be making his 253rd appearance, thus passing Peter Schmeichel's record as Manchester United keeper. Thierry HENRY leads in the race for the Barclaycard Golden Boot. He's scored 19 Premiership goals, one more than Ruud VAN NISTELROOY of Manchester United. Robert PIRES is a double strike short of 50 goals for the Gunners. Sylvain WILTORD needs one goal to total 50 for the North London giants. Suspended: Martin KEOWN

The King
