Jol would have been OK to lose and have a ready made excuse vis a vis injuries. You can see even this early that the "woe is me" mentality that has been all to rife at WHL for years has been put to the sword by Ramos. He expects to win and injuries, suspensions, poor refs, quality of opponent etc is irrelevant Spurs expect to win and anything less is not good enough.

Robbie Keane has joined an elite band of players to reach the 100-goal mark in the Premier League.

Robbie's two goals against Fulham on Boxing Day made him the 13th player to reach the century mark since the start of the Premier League in 1992-93.

Skipper for much of this season in Ledley King's absence, Robbie has scored 75 league goals since joining us from Leeds United in August 2002. He also scored 12 goals for Coventry and 13 for Leeds.

The Republic of Ireland's record goalscorer, 27, is the third Spur, past or present, on the list alongside his former team-mates Les Ferdinand and Teddy Sheringham. Bubbling just under the 100 mark are Emile Heskey, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Frank Lampard.

MARTIN SAYS: Well Nicky, smug or not, your friend is, as things stand, correct. Of course there is still a round of games to go before the year is up, but Robbie Keane's two goals against Fulham not only saw him become the 13th man to score 100 Premier League goals, but it also put him at the top of the scoring charts for games played in 2007. It was his 31st goal since January 1 2007 in all competitions, which in itself is a pretty impressive stat. But as for the Premier League it was his 19th goal in 31 appearances this year and took him ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo, who of course was busy scoring that free-kick at Sunderland. The Manchester United man has scored 17 goals in 30 Premier League appearances. Here is the full list of the leading league scorers in 2007.
