Sportlich ist mit Top-Leistungen Platz 2 sicherlich kein Ding der Unmöglichkeit. Wir dürfen nur kein gröberes Formloch aufreißen, dann ist ein Überwintern möglich (eine zusätzliche last-minute Verstärkung im Offensivbereich wäre hier natürlich auch kein "Beinbruch").

Geht mMn nur um das letzte Gruppenspiel (das vorletzte ist ohnehin Ende November dieses Jahr).

Dass es keine richtig geile Gruppe dieses Jahr wird, war ja schon vor der Auslosung klar.

Begeistert bin ich nicht, aber froh, dass es uns nicht schlimmer erwischt hat wie zB Frankfurt aus unserem Topf 3 mit ihrer Gruppe.

genk meistens mit recht vielen auswärtsfahrern , heimkurve nicht allzu groß und im 2. rang. zu thun kann ich nichts sagen.

kiev hat eine sehr große anhängerschaft und leider viele rechte fans.

The away stand is always in AA (2nd rang), but if you have enough fans to come to Genk, you can arrange with the club to get A too (1st rang).

I'm new at this forum, obviously a Genk fan If you guys have any question, just shoot them. I'm going to talk English because my German is not good enough If you have questions, i'd like them in English too.

My honest opinion about the Euro-draw: Dinamo Kiev should be out of reach for anyone, but if Genk have a good day, we should be able to win from both Thun and you guys. But we have to be good, in order to get that 2nd place.

Little side-fact: Kevin De Bruyne (Chelsea), Thibaut Courtois (Atletico Madrid), Benteke (Aston Villa) were all 3 players from Genk untill 2 seasons ago. They came from our youth academy, wich normally is pretty succesfull in belgium.

Gefällt mir die Gruppe. Da kann man mit etwas Anstrengung den 2. Platz machen. Kiev wird nur schwer zu biegen sein, gegen Genk muss an sich anstrengen und die Schweizer muss man einfach biegen. Ob man will oder nicht.

what's the best pub in genk ?

How important is the EL for Genk? Do you always want to win every game or do you sometimes think more about the Belgium Championships if it's not going well in the league?

We try to get as far as possible in the EL. Last season we won our EL Group with Basel, Lissabon, Videoton. We then got a draw against Stuttgart who were just a little bit too strong. Our goal for this years EL is normally to get beyond the group stage again. So yeah, we want to win every game

Also, we got a belgian championship format wich includes Play-offs. Because those play offs, Genk can deal with some lost points... I can't really explain because it's difficult, but I can assure you that Genk will give their best in Europe

what's the best pub in genk ?

Genk is - in my opinion - a boring city. You should go to Hasselt (City next to Genk).

Genk got some pubs like ' 't Hoogseizoen, Amadeus, Cheers, an Irish Hotel/pub, Belgiek, Het witte doek, Camargue'.

Those are some pubs in Genk. In Hasselt you got more, but the most important is.... Irish Pub

Don't expect too much from the city Genk. It's really nothing compared to Wien

But you are in Belgium, so the beer should always be good !
