Antropov hat einen geringfügigen Knorpelschaden im Knie erlitten. Pause eher kurz, Arthroskopie eventuell nötig. Er und Colaiacovo (wieder einmal...) fehlen Fr/Sa sicher, bei Sundin sind Zweifel sicher angebracht. Somit sind die 2 Topscorer weiter außer Gefecht.

Die Leafs haben den 3rd-round pick 2006, Goalie James Reimer, mit einem 3-year entry level contract versorgt. Reimer spielt bei den Red Deer Rebels in der WHL, und wurde trotz der schlechten Bilanz des Teams (21.Platz von 22 Teams) zum besten Goalie der Eastern Conference gewählt.
