Seit langem wird über einen Wechsel von Ronaldinho von Barcelona zu Milan spekuliert. Milan-Präsident Silvio Berlusconi liess in der Vergangenheit keine Gelegenheit aus, um seinen Wunsch einer Verpflichtung des 27-Jährigen in aller Öffentlichkeit kundzutun. Nach den neusten Äusserungen der Milan-Verantwortlichen ist Ronaldinho nun aber kein dringliches Thema mehr. Grund: die Neuverpflichtung Pato. Schon vor seinem ersten Spiel für Milan war um den 18-Jährigen ein Hype entstanden, der sich nach dem Debüt gegen Napoli noch gesteigert hat. In der Tat liess der Brasilianer seine Klasse mehr als einmal aufblitzen.

Deshalb sagte Milan-Coach Carlo Ancelotti nach der Partie: "Ronaldinho wird nicht kommen, wir haben Pato." Kommt hinzu, dass der langzeitverletzte Ronaldo bei seinem Comeback gleich zwei Tore erzielte und langfristig beim Champions-League-Sieger wieder eine Rolle spielen soll. Auch Berlusconi selbst scheint nicht mehr auf einer Verpflichtung seines Wunschspielers Ronaldinho zu beharren: "Ich denke nicht, dass wir Ronaldinho unbedingt brauchen.
