Ruuds erster Tag in Madrid:

Wie kann man sagen, dass ein Stürmer, der so eine unglaubliche Torstatistik vorweisen kann, wie Van Nistelrooy, überflüssig ist? Ich kann jetzt schon sehen, wie Ronaldo auf der Bank hockt und ihm beim Toreschießen zuschaut, wenn er nicht schon davor verkauft wird. Ich denke mit RVN haben sie endlich eine richtige Tormaschine geholt und müssen sich nicht mehr vollkommen auf einen ehemaligen Weltstar verlassen, dessen Übergewicht, seine damit verbundene Verletzungsanfälligkeit sowie seine privaten Eskapaden mehr thematisiert werden, als das wofür er eigentlich bezahlt wird.

ronaldo ist seit jahren verlässlicher torjäger in der spanischen liga, gehörte soweit ich weiss immer zu reals toptorschützen wenn er nicht sowieo meist der beste war.

ruud muss dies alles erst beweisen. so einfach wird sich der so oft kritisierte nicht verdrängen lassen.

Capello ist ein guter Trainer und real hat wie schon Seit Jahren nicht mehr sehr Gut Eingekauft (mein nicht nur RVN*gg*?)

Bin gespannt auf die neue Saison und ob Real Barca wieder Erreichen kann.

J1: Good evening , congratulations when did u started to feel unhappy at manchester united and was it ur always ur first choice?

RVN: Uhm...i think when we`played the final in "la Copa" that's when i started to feel unhappy....and you know.....Madrid, for me, Real Madrid is always the first choice, There's No question!

J2: Firstly, i'm disappointed with the wat things ended in Manchester United you know you gave them so many goals and most of the fans didnt want you to leave, u know, it was the manager was supporting more the other players...and secondly do u think with Real madrid u will have more chances to win the Champions League?

RVn: the first question i think u've summed up all my feeling and the second....it's always difficult to answer you know u have to deserve it , u cant say we have more chances to win than another team,i think, Real Madrid it's a fantastic team which have fantastic qualities that can be successful and u always have to prove it on the pitch not by talking

J3: what do u think about the real madrid fans welcoming and of real madrid? and second: what do u think of Kaká??

RVN: i think the reception along the day i landed in madrid very early , from that moment on i got a very welcome, a great feeling, the presentation of the club was fantastic, I was delighted to see that the fans were in the stadium it's always very important ,the reception they gave me went very well and i'm thankful to them.I'm enjoying the moment here , it's an incredible moment for me...and....Kaká, everyone know his qualities so every team and everyone would welcome him.

J4: What would u say to Manchester United Fans , i have talked to many of them and they didnt want u to leave , so now the question is Did u really want to leave?

RVN: I think the thing for me,is that the relationshop with the manager was ended, that's painful cos i owed him a lot he waited for me during my injury, he gave me the chances, the confidence to play at the best level i have ever played at the greatest club, manchester united, and then whatever it happened,you know it happened and that sort of good relationship came to an end so in that sense it doesnt got anything to do with the club or the fans or the players or anything else, you know, i think it's important to have a good relationship with the manager and that wasnt there anymore so in that situation it was sort of the best thing to leave, for both.So, You know, my affection and appreciation to the fans and manchester united as a club and everyone who works at the club will be forever, it's a part of me, i've been there for 5 years , the most incredible years and that's what i'll carry with me for the rest of my life, you know the feeling that the fans gave me from the beginning to end was embracing and they never let me go really.

J5:have u spoken to David Beckham lately? what does it mean for u to play with him once again?

RVN: it's great to be reunited with him and....the 2 years i played with him at Manchester United were incredible, you know i've missed him for the last years that he left because he's a wonderful person and a great footballer to play with, and i think we have a great connection on and off the pitch and i think that helps......that makes me miss him a lot!

J6: would u like to share the forward zone of the team with ronaldo?

and why do manchester supporters still want Ferguson if he's dismissed beckham and u?

RVN: Ronaldo for me, he's a Phenomenum, you know, his qualities are of the best in the world and i'mlooking forward to playing together with him, he's such a great player but you know,i dont make the team....and that's a question maybe for the manager(Capello)

.....Uhmm....i dont know.....as i said before i owed the manager (ferguson) a lot that's why it was so painful that it went wrong for me, i cared a lot about him so what came before or after me...what can i say? i just know my own situation

J7: How many goals do u think u'll score this season? who was ur childhood idol?

RVN: You know, i think for a striker the greatest feeling is to score goals you know in manchester i scored a couple of goals in my life , i never set targets i alwats want to perform in every match the maximum that i have that's what i demand for myself that's what i think is the most important for myself

you know.....i grew up in 1998 when Holland won the "European Championships" with Van Basten in his best form, in Milan, i was 12 years old for me that was my idol.

J8: Did u say goodbye to sir Alex Ferguson?(everyone laughs in the room) and was there any chance for u to sign for Bayern Münich??

RVN: Yesterday i trained in United, the double session and i think after the second session i went inside and heard all the things of going but not sure yet, i went home to wait and see, so in that sense i didnt have the chance to see him anymore but definately maybe in the future there'll be a chance for that.Of Course, in the transfer i'm always involved cos it's about me, but it's not that i know all how things were....i just said to my manager to sort things out and then call me when the clubs reach an agreement and then i can make a decision.Otherwise the telephone calls it's a waste of time with talks "that happened" , that other happened and nothing serious i dont want to know , So my manager called me :"Manchester United and Real Madrid have an agreement and after that....for me it was obviously a dream come true and then i would talk to my manager what the whole story with Bayern Munich was.

J9: what's ur relationship with Van Basten?

RVN : i want to say that the problem with Van Basten was just a tactical decision for him not to play me, we spoke about it, discussed it then u can agree with his reasons or not but you know, that's a part about football...

J10: What are ur goals in Real Madrid?

RVN: For me it's a great opportunity to come to Real Madrid and show my qualities i have been showing my qualities in the past, that's what i wanna do here, for me it's very important to do that,it means everything to me to do that and that's my biggest goal to give the maximum.

J11:What number would u like to wear in real madrid?

RVN: I'm happy i'm gonna wear the white shirt that's the most important thing ,after that, you know, the number doesnt matter, i'll take whatever they give me.

J12: we have noticed u were happy and nervous but how have u felt the last few hours?

RVN: I was happy to go on the pitch with the ball, really when i did the speaking ...obviously everything went to quickly yesterday i was in manchester and now 24 hours later i'm here , so much happened ,so when i was talking to the press when the president was presenting me i was feeling nervous

(Last question):

J13: we've heard u say some words in Spanish, How's ur Spanish?

RVN: My Spanish is sort of...not good (smiles) but i will try to learn Spanish as quick as i can cos i want to communicate, speak with the fans, understand what i'm told...and so on
