- Es wird in so gut wie allen Medien gemeldet, dass die Entscheidung über einen Transfer von Maxi Lopez zu Barca noch heute fallen soll.

Außerdem geistert das Gerücht herum, dass Barca und River sich schon gestern Nacht geeinigt haben sollen und Maxi spätestens am Montag Spieler vom FC Barcelona ist.

Indiz dafür, dass diese Meldungen stimmen, könnte die Tatsache sein, dass Maxis Klub, River Plate, heute Abend gegen den Erzrivalen Boca Juniors spielt und er nicht mit der Mannschaft zu diesem Spiel gereist ist.

- Außerdem wird heute gemeldet, dass Demetrio Albertini am Montag nach Barcelona kommen soll, um einen Vertrag über sechs Monate bei Barca zu unterschreiben.

Demnach könnten am Montag schon beide offiziell als neue Spieler von Barca vorgestellt werden.

Werden sie aber wahrscheinlich machen, Rijkaard plant wohl nicht mehr mit ihm.

Finde es auch äußerst schade, aber daran ist auch Saviola etwas mitverantwortlich. Er soll ja noch immer einen Vertrag über 3,2 Millionen/Jahr haben und stur darauf bestehen. So etwas kann und will sich Barca einfach nicht leisten, sonst fiele man wieder in Gaspart-Zeiten zurück.

Finanziell ist es wohl angebracht, wenn man Saviola abgibt. Aber als Spieler sowie Sympathieträger in Barcelona und Argentinien ist er trotzdem fast unverzichtbar so wie ich finde.

Auch die französische L'Equipe(steht eigentlich immer für Seriosität) meldet den Abschluss des Transfers(~6 Millionen, 4 Jahre + Option auf ein weiteres).

Jetzt heißt es nur noch abwarten, bis eine Bestätigung vom Verein kommt. Gestern, vor dem Spiel gegen Santander, sagte Ferran Soriano, dass die Verhandlungen mit Maxi und Albertini bzw. mit ihren Vereinen sehr weit fortgeschritten sind.

Allerdings habe man noch immer auch einige andere Optionen, auf die man zurückgreifen könnte. Darunter befindet sich auch Iaquinta. Jedenfalls könnte man schon am Montag zwei neue Spieler präsentieren.

Ich sehe das ganze mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge.

Einerseits freue ich mich immer über junge gute Spieler die Barca kauft, aber andererseits tut es mir verdammt leid um meinen absoluten Lieblingsspieler Saviola.

Ich hoffe noch immer, dass ich ihn nächstes Jahr wieder im Barca Dress auflaufen sehe.

Barcelona ist inzwischen seit 24 Heimspielen ungeschlagen. Davon hat ma 20 gewonnen und 4 Unentschieden gespielt. Das letzte Team das im Nou Camp gewinnen konnte ist Zaragoza.

Demetrio Albertini wird morgen nach Barcelona reisen. Er wird heute sein letztes Spiel mit Atalanta bestreiten. Barcelona wird Albertini bis Saisonende ausleihen ohne Aussicht auf eine Weiterverpflichtung. Dem Transfer soll nicht mehr viel im Weg stehen.

In einem Interview mit der "El Periódico de Catalunya" sagte Rosell: "Laporta und ich haben verschiedene Meinungen, aber ich helfe Laporta bei allem um das er mich bittet." Zu seiner Zukunft sagte er: " Ich fühle mich nachwievor gebraucht bei Barca. Sollte ich eines Tages zurücktreten, dann nur weil es das Beste für den FC Barcelona ist ". Zu den Ronaldinho-Gerüchten: " Da ist nichts dran."

Thiago Motta wird Ende Woche nach Barcelona zurückkehren und dort den letzten Teil seiner Reha absolvieren. Motta will gegen Chelsea wieder dabei sein. Bei Barca rechnet man wieder in ca.6 Wochen mit seinem Einsatz.

In this exclusive interview with fcbarcelona.com, Barca's new signing Demetrio Albertini explains how he came to sign and what he's hoping for at the club.

Albertini maybe a veteran in the game, but he's arrived in the Catalan with all the excitement of a youngster and he was clearly keen to join up with Rijkaard and the players when we caught up with him in his hotel room.

So, what's it been like these last few days since Barca expressed their interest in bringing you here?

"I've got to admit that I've been really nervous. I wasn't sure if it'd all work out, the negotiations had to be finished off. I was also with my Italian teammates everyday and they were all asking me if I'd be going or staying."

Were you surprised by Barca's interest?

"I tell you, at Christmas, my mind was just on Atalanta - everything was a surprise. I can't put into words how grateful I am to Barca for the interest they showed in me."

Was it Frank Rijkaard who got in touch with you?

"I spoke to Frank just before I left Italy. I'd turned my phone off -some of my friends and family didn't even know I was coming here, but I was getting very nervous about it all. Just before I left, I spoke to Frank and he explained why he wanted me here for my experience, because I am available for the Champions and just to help the team as best I can".

Had you ever though about joining Barca at any point during your career?

"It's just a dream situation. After having played for one big club, to get the chance with another. Barca and Milan are two great clubs, but in the end it's your professional attitude that counts, be it here, or at Atalanta, Lazio or Atletico Madrid."

What memories do you have of Barca over your career?

"Plenty of games curiously enough I've never been on the losing side against Barca and I scored twice against them once. Perhaps the best memory I have is of my friendship with Pep Guardiola, who's of my generation. Then there's the stadium itself, which has to be one of the most beautiful in the world."

You played in the Spanish League for a season. How does it differ from Italy? Do you think that your profile as a player is more suited to the Spanish or Italian game?

"I guess the Spanish League is more attractive and spectacular, whilstthe Italian game is more tactical. For me I just love my job, playing football."

So how would you describe yourself, as a midfield organizer r as more of a defensive player? Or maybe a combination of the two?

"I'd say that I'm good as an attacking midfielder, but I can also bring something to the team from a defensive point of view. I've also got a good shot and I tend to get goals from distance."

What was it like playing alongside Rijkaard at Milan? What role did you have then?

"Well I was only 20 then and my job was to build our game, though I also got through plenty of work. Frank had a great personality, strength and lots of quality. We were different types of players, but at Milan we'd interchange, so that if I went up he stayed, if he defended, I was freer and so on."

What's most caught your eye about Rijkaard's Barca?

"The way they keep possession. All of the team are comfortable on the ball, especially in a one on one situation, something that's always been typical of Barca it was always difficult to come to the Nou Camp as an opponent and win."

How do you see yourself fitting into this team?

"I've got to try and become part of the group and get to know how the team works. I'll guarantee that I'll give the maximum effort to settle in. Frank knows me and knows what I can do."

So what are your personal aims over the next few months?

"That the people here get to know me as a professional and as a player. The past isn't important now, I'm starting from zero and I've been lucky enough to come here to a great club where I'm determined to win things."

What number do you want to wear?

"I'm not sure, the numbers her only go up to 25 don't they?"

Well 25 and above are usually reserved for the youngsters who come into the team...

"Well, they can give me one of the shirts for the youngsters then!

Do you know much about Barcelona and Catalonia?

"I've been here to pass a few days a number of times. I played in the Olympic Games here. The truth is I love this city. Last year I gave my wife a surprise trip. Just took the plane and came here to Barcelona for a break. Now I can get to know it even better. I love Spain and have a lot of friends here."

And do you surf the net?

"Yes, I do. I've got my own official website, which I personally keep up to date with my brother and my cousin."

"I am a lover of football and of my job"

Demetrio Albertini has promised to bring 'passion, happiness and professionalism' as he was presented as a Barcelona player and explained that he loves his work.

The Italian international has won almost every domestic honour and has become the player with the most trophies under his belt in the Barça squad. Despite his success, his delight at being given the chance to play for FC Barcelona is 'a dream' for him after he moved to Camp Nou from Serie A side Atalanta. Albertini has only signed a six-month deal and has even taken a pay-cut, but he explained that to join up with his friend Frank Rijkaard 'was one of the main reasons that I decided to come to the club'.

Experience, passion and professionalism

The 33-year-old revealed that he still wants to win more silverware and realised that time was running out for him, 'but I always want more'. He hopes to bring 'experience, passion, happiness and professionalism' to a club that 'has welcomed me with open arms'. The former Milan star explained amid great smiles that the only thing he does not like is 'to lose the five-a-side games in training'.

Deme, as Albertini was called throughout the press conference by Rijkaard, was keen to thank the president of Atalanta 'for understanding my desire to join Barcelona at the age of 33'.

Ready to play

Having played three games last week, the player is in 'ideal' physical shape to face Sevilla on Saturday. Albertini though, said that he would not be too disappointed if he was not to play this weekend in the Sánchez Pizjuán because he has 'the utmost repect for his new team-mates' and because he is at the disposal of the coach 'for when he needs me'.

He has followed Barça's fortunes fom Italy

Albertini has pointed out that he knows all about the team having followed his new team-mates on television. He praised their performances this season and again said that for a player of his age 'it is a dream to be able to sign for one of the biggest clubs in Europe like Barcelona'.

Die span. Zeitung AS schreibt von einem möglichen Schachzug Riquelme, Saviola, oder Rochemback nach Betis Sevilla,... im Gegenzug sollte Joaquín kommen. (obwohl er wohl Real bevorzugen würde).

Radio marca wiederum spricht von einem Tauschgeschäft Riquelme - Luque.

Mundo Deportivo schreibt dass Barca Gonzalo Rodriguez von Villarreal haben will ! Der Argentinische Innenverteidiger soll auch von Juventus umworben werden !

Barca will ihn wahrscheinlich für die nächste Saison haben ! Aber schon wieder ein Argentinier ! Naja mal sehen was draus wird !

Im Fall Joaquin, ich denke nicht dass er zu Barca geht ! Eher geht er zu Chelsea (die haben das meiste Geld)!

Aber Luque wäre ganz gut für unser Flügelspiel, dann wird Ronaldinho auch mal auf der linken Seite entlasstet !

Und Deportivo hat ja schon seit längerem finanzielle Probleme, ich denke dass sie Luque dann eher ziehen lassen weil sie das Geld brauchen !
