Adebayor passes medical

The Real Madrid newcomer is "in perfect health and ready to play" according to Dr. Carlos Diez

Emmanuel Adebayor had his required medical on Thursday at Sanitas-La Moraleja Hospital. According to Dr. Carlos Diez, who oversaw the process, the player has a "tremendous physique. He is in very good health and is able to begin training immediately."

The player arrived at Sanitas-La Moraleja Hospital at approximately noon and had a checkup included blood and urine tests, an EKG, an ECHO, an MRI, X-rays and an examination of Adebayor’s locomotor and cardiorespiratory systems, all of which he passed with flying colors.

Upon concluding his examination, Dr. Diez added that "it went very well. We completed all our tests and he is in perfect health from both a cardiovascular and a biomechanics standpoint. He feels like he is ready to being working with the team. He has a tremendous physique and is readily available to the coaching staff as soon as he joins the team."
