Laporta und Soriano waren ja noch im Jänner dieses Jahres in Kitzbühel, um mit betandwin zu verhandeln und sich nebenbei auch das Hahnenkammrennen anzusehen. Allerdings lief die Frist für die Annahme ihres Angebots Mitte Februar aus und das Unternehmen zog es dann offizell zurück, weil von Barca keine Rückmeldung mehr gekommen war. Bleiben uns aber noch immer als Werbepartner(Bandenwerbung und dergleichen) erhalten.

Milan, 60 milioni da Betandwin

Mercoledì 19 aprile, il giorno dopo la semifinale di Champions League con il Barcellona, il Milan annuncerà ufficialmente il suo nuovo sponsor: si tratta di Betandwin, società austriaca di scommesse online che sostituirà Opel, marchio presente sulle maglie rossonere da più di 12 anni.

Dal nuovo partner il Milan riceverà 60 milioni in quattro anni (fino al 2010) il 60% in più rispetto al precedente sponsor; dal canto suo, Betandwin pagherà i rossoneri 40 milioni in meno rispetto a quanto offerto poo tempo fa al Barcellona.

Grazie a questo accordo, il Milan è ora la società con il terzo sponsor più "ricco" d'Europa alle spalle della Juventus (Tamoil, 24 milioni l'anno), Bayern (Tcom, 18 milioni l'anno) e alla pari del Real Madrid (BenQ, 15 milioni a stagione).

Manfred Bodner: ‘Milan are the ideal partner’

MILAN – The Rossoneri colours will give life to the partnership that begins on July 1 with new sponsor Betandwin, leaders in the online betting industry. The two companies signed an agreement that will last for four years. Now, the Betandwin logo will appear on the team’s jerseys in both national and international competiions.

The CEO of Betandwin, Manfred Bodner, said: ‘We were limited in the scope of the Betandwin brand at an international level. Football is important sport and so we wanted to work with a club that is at the top world-wide. We are convinced that we found the ideal partner in Milan and we are able to work with great names in European football, like Adriano Galliani.’

Other football greats, such as Boris Becker, Franza Klammer, Mark Spitz and Daley Thompson, were there to announce their new partnership between Betandwin as well.
