Wäre meiner Meinung nach ein schlimmer Fehler, ihn zu holen-er hat ja schon zugegeben, nicht fit genug für die Serie A zu sein, deswegen sein Wechsel nach Katar.

Die Gerüchte um Batistuta (als auch um Pierre van Hooijdonk) wurden vorgestern von Rijkaard dementiert. Keiner der beiden würde in das Konzept des Holländers passen.

Außerdem scheinen alle bis jetzt genannten Namen(schade, weil mir auf jeden Fall Ljuboja am liebsten gewesen wäre) kein Thema zu sein, denn laut "Sport" soll John Carew von Besiktas Istanbul die Nummer eins auf Barcas Liste sein. Der norwegische Nationalstürmer wechselte erst im Sommer von Valencia in die Türkei, wo er einen Vertrag über drei Jahre unterschrieben hat. Barca will nun alles versuchen um ihn im Jänner ins Camp Nou zu holen und er soll auch unbedingt nach Barcelona wollen.

Von den bis jetzt in der Presse genannten Namen, halte ich Carew für die schlechteste Option, ich hoffe man überlegt sich das noch einmal gründlich.

Noch etwas: Rijkaard ließ verlautbaren, dass man im Jänner vor hat, neben einem neuen Stürmer, auch zwei Mittelfeldspieler zu holen.

Prem sides lead Kompany chase

Vincent Kompany's agent has revealed that the strongest interest in his client has come from The Premiership and Barcelona.

The elegant young defender has won many plaudits after bursting on to the scene with Anderlecht last season, and has become a target for Europe's top clubs.

It had been thought that Italian giants Internazionale and Milan were leading the chase the 18-year-old, and a winter transfer window move to Serie A had been strongly mooted.

However, Kompany's representative Jacques Lichtenstein has dismissed such claims, and insists it is clubs in England, as well as Barcelona, who have made firm approaches for the youngster.

Lichtenstein was quick to add, though, that Kompany planned to stay with Anderlecht until the end of the current season at least, and had no intention to move in January.

"The most concrete offers we have received for Kompany have come from England and Barcelona," he explained.

"I want to categorically deny the ridiculous news that he is preparing to sign for an Italian club next month.

"We have never even spoken to an Italian club because he wants to stay at Anderlecht at least until the end of the current season and so do the club."

Kompany has been touted for a move to Chelsea, but Barcelona are also contenders for his signature and it is believed that the youngster was very impressed by the Catalan club when he played in a charity match there last week.

Ljuboja interest confirmed

The agent of Paris Saint Germain striker Danijel Ljuboja has confirmed the interest of Barcelona in his client.

The 26-year-old hit-man has fallen out of favour at Parc des Princes after several clashes with coach Vahid Halilhodzic.

He was reported to have attracted the interest of Barca who are on the look-out for a transfer window replacement for injured Henrik Larsson.

Agent Stephane Canard admits the Catalans have been in contact about the Serbia-born star, but insists Ljuboja still wants to prove himself at PSG.

Speaking of the Barca speculation, Canard told France Football: "The rumour is justified.

"We would have preferred it to remain a secret for a little longer.

"For the moment Danijel wants to achieve something at PSG and he still hopes to make a name for himself there.

"He doesn't want to leave after just one year. But if he has no opportunity again I can't see how he will succeed."

However, there the striker has a number of other suitors including Internazionale, Stuttgart, Mallorca, St-Etienne and Rennes.

Canard is scheduled to hold further talks with Barcelona this week, while another of his representatives, Alex Krstic, will meet Inter to discuss his situation.

Despite the player's protestations, it seems almost certain he will move on when the transfer window reopens in January.

Würde mich sehr freuen, wenn Ljuboja der neue Stürmer wird, ist einer meiner absoluten Lieblinge. Bei PSG steht er derzeit am Abstellgleis(Differenzen mit dem unfähigen Trainer Vahid Halihodzic) und sein Abgang steht eigentlich schon so gut wie fest.

Seine Nationalität sollte für Barca kein Problem darstellen, da er auch in Besitz der französischen Staatsbürgerschaft ist und somit unser Nicht-EU-Bürger-Kontingent nicht belasten würde.

Wäre (für mich zumindest) ein Traum ihn bei Barca zu sehen.

In the Ukraine, Shakhtar added yet another win to its tally this weekend with a comfortable 4-1 win over Illichivets. So, Mircea Lucescu's side stays ahead of Dynamo Kiev, the side that has dominated Ukrainian football since the break-up of the Soviet Supreme League.

Ein echter Rohdiamant, der mir sehr gut bei Barca gefallen würde. Laut argentinischer Presse (stand außerdem auch mal was in Mundo Deportivo darüber) beobachtet ihn Barca schon seit einigen Wochen. Ist von seiner Art her wie ein junger Hernan Crespo und hat noch unglaublich viel Potential, ist ja erst 20 Jahre alt. Ist die wohl beste Investinion in die Zukunft , die man im internationalen Fussball auf der Stürmerposition derzeit machen kann. Es sind aber leider auch ziemlich viele andere Hochkaräter an ihm dran, allen voran der AC Milan.

Wäre sehr erfreut, wenn man es irgendwie zusammenbringt ihn nach Barcelona zu holen, nur glaube ich nicht wirklich daran, die Konkurrenz dürfte doch zu stark sein.

kenn ich nicht den maxi, vor allem sind mir barca südamerika transfers schon etwas suspekt, bis auf saviola kam da nix dauerhaft gescheites - forza bojinov, jünger, in europäischer topliga schon durchgesetzt, coole sau, hristo solls richten

ausserdem tendier ich sowieso mehr zu einem "gestandenen erfahrenem" stürmer ala henrik

mit eto'o und saviola hat barca schon 2 junge talentierte mannen, aber man nimmt was man kriegt
