- Celtic Glasgow möchte Torhüter Rüstü Recber _Türkei_ verpflichten. Lange sah es so aus, dass Rüstü bei Fenerbahce bleiben würde, allerdings wollen die Türken den Keeper nur weiterhin ausleihen, woran Barca absolut kein Interesse haben. Man will nicht mehr länger das mehr als gute Gehalt für Rüstü bezahlen, auch nicht teilweise.

- Javier Saviola hat auch vom FC Sevilla eine Absage bekommen. Man sei zwar von seinen Qualitäten überzeugt, allerdings ist er nicht finanzierbar. Barca hätte ihn gerne an Sevilla verkauft, da man sich dadurch Chancen auf Baptista ausgerechnet hätte. Nur scheint Atletico Madrid der einzige Interessent zu sein, Saviola würde diesen Verein auch bevorzugen. Mein Traum bleibt weiterhin, dass man Saviola zuerst nicht an einen anderen Verein anbringt, er bleiben "muss", und dann durch gute Leistungen sich wieder in die Mannschaft spielt. Aber das ist wohl nur ein Traum...

- Santigo Ezquerro ist von ganz Barcelona begeistert, spricht von einer absolut besseren, perfekten Organisation im Umfeld und auch von der sehr guten Stimmung innerhalb der Mannschaft. "Man merkt überall, dass Barca ein Club mit Weltformat ist", sind seine Worte.

- Die B-Kader-Spieler Pitu und Rodri sind im Kader für das Trainingslager in Dänemark. Beide konnten schon Erfahrung im A-Kader sammeln, allerdings nur sehr wenig.

- Gabri Garcia war ungewollt der Mittelpunkt beim heutigen Training. Er brach das Training ab, weil er laut den ersten Informationen "Probleme mit dem Knie" hatte. Es ist übrigens das gleiche Knie, dass ihn letzte Saison monatelang außer Gefecht setzte.

Hoff dass er nicht bleibt, es is zu seinem besten glaub mir.Denn ich bin mir zu 100% sicher dass er KEINE Chance erhalten würde, ja man ihn im Notfall sogar zu Barca B tun würde oder gar den Vertrag auflösen.Er hat nicht mal den medizinischen Check gemacht, und Begiristain sowie Rijkaard haben beide gesagt dass man quasi "nichts anfangen könnte" mit ihm.Und sowas will ich Javier nicht gönnen ich bin ganz ehrlich.

Alleine deswegen werd ich mit Rijkaard nie 100 prozentig einverstanden sein. Ein Saviola hilft mMn in Form fast jeder Mannschaft. Weiß nicht genau, wie es in der französischen Liga ausgeschaut hat, aber in der CL hat er zB genauso oft getroffen wie Eto'o. Und die Stürmer sind wie letzten Sommer unser großes Problem:

- Eto'o: Unumstritten, aber wenn er mal ausfällt....????

- Larsson: Bestenfalls Joker für mich, wie kommt er zurück, wird zudem bald 34!

- Maxi Lopez: Könnte heuer den Durchbruch schaffen, was ist aber, wenn er so endet wie die meisten Südamerika-Talente, die Barca geangelt hat....???

Ein Saviola wäre sehr wohl sinnvoll, mit nur drei Stürmer in die Saison zu gehen, wäre ein großer Fehler. Einmal hat man schon das Problem (im Winter)... :aaarrrggghhh:

Der Kader für den Trip nach Dänemark steht und sieht folgendermaßen aus:

Tor: Valdés, Jorquera, Rubén.

Verteidigung: Damià, Belletti, Puyol, Gio, Edmílson, Gabri, Rodri, Sylvinho, Oleguer

Mittelfeld: Motta, Xavi, Iniesta, Pitu, Deco, Van Bommel.

Angriff: Larsson, Giuly, Ezquerro, Maxi, Eto'o

Man wird bis zum 26. Juli in Dänemark, genauer gesagt in Aarhus, bleiben und dort zwei Testspiele absolvieren.

Mark Van Bommel's Danish Diary

Every day, Mark Van Bommel will keep a diary exclusively for fcbarcelona.com detailling his first days at the club. Today is his first entry.

Along with Santiago Ezquerro, the Dutchman is one of Barca's new summer signings and he will reveal all the inside details from the squad as they enjoy their stay in Denmark. This is the first chapter of his diary:

"Hello to the whole world,

To start this diary of my first trip with FC Barcelona I would like to present myself to all of you. My name is Mark Van Bommel and I am 28-years-old. I am a football player and this season I have joined FC Barcelona from PSV Eindhoven.

Now I have presented myself, I will tell you about my first days in Aarhus. I was desperate to get on to the plane as soon as we boarded the coach to El Prat airport. I wanted to travel with the team and get to know all the players here. For me, it was very important to get to know all of my team-mates and the staff. Everyone has been very welcoming (the players, coaches and other staff) and that has been a great help. On the plane to Denmark I had Gio Van Bronkhorst on my left, who I know from the Holland squad, and on my right was Juliano Belletti. We spent the whole trip making jokes, reading and they tried to help me learn Spanish.

Denmark looks like a very country, with lots of trees and grass with an excellent climate for playing football. Here the temperature is pleasant all day, so that you can play sport at any time.

Once we arrived in Aarhus we visited the town hall where we were received by the mayoress and lots of fans wearing scarves, flags and Barca shirts. After the official photos, we all signed the guest book and were given a gift from the city before heading to the hotel for dinner. The meal was quite good and was very similar to the food we ate at PSV and with the Dutch team and during the dinner I learnt a few more new Spanish words and enjoyed the atmosphere. We then all headed to our rooms where I was able to speak to my family and reflect on everything that has happened. One of the details that surprised is how soft the beds are, but I still slept well.

After breakfast we began training. The Aarhus Stadium has a superb pitch. The cool temperature and the rain that fell throughout the session helped the whole squad make it through the hard work that put in, but we are all keen to make a huge effort to be up to the required fitness level.

For the first time I experienced the huge interest that a big club like FC Barcelona generates among the mass media, with everyone being interested in where I learnt Spanish. After lunch I had a massage and then rested. I hope that this entry gives you a small insight into me first day in Denmark. During the entire stay here I will report back with my experiences. Van Bommel's Diary (II)

Every day, Mark van Bommel is exclusively telling fcbarcelona.com about his experiences on his first trip away with the rest of the Barça players. This is part two.

In the second part of his diary, Mark van Bommel tells us all about his first press conference, his first kickaround, and what the players do in their free time:

"Yesterday I left you just as I was about to have a siesta. Once I had got up again, I had some food to give me the strength for afternoon training. It was a good session: three ten minute matches, eleven against eleven. I felt fine, although unlike in Holland, at Barça I don't have to cover so much of the pitch, but that was OK by me.

Then it was back to the hotel for a well-deserved supper, and I connected to the Internet to look at a few international web pages, including PSV's and Barça's, because I was keen to see how the first part of my diary had come out. Then I phoned my wife and children before going to bed, and then I was delighted to hear from some of my old PSV teammates who phoned from Paris airport, on their way back from touring Korea. I chatted with somebody who you know only too well: Philip Cocu.

This morning when I woke up it felt like I had slept well and for a long time. I went down for breakfast and enjoyed a dish I always like to order on training camps, scrambled eggs! I love them!

I felt really comfortable in the first training session of the day. Unlike yesterday, when it was raining, the sun came out today and it was a lot warmer in Aarhus. When training was over, I had my first press conference. I tried to speak in Spanish, but I found it difficult at times, but with the help of Txemi Terés, it wasn't too hard. I do my best to communicate with everybody. The way everyone in the team helps each other is something I would like to highlight. There are by my side for anything I need, and the truth is that I am very grateful to them for that. Then I went for lunch and now I'm about to have a good siesta, then training and who knows, perhaps I'll have a few more games on the PlayStation with Larsson and Gio!!!

NEWS

- Santiago Ezquerro hat sich im Trainingslager in Dänemark einen Museklfaserriss zugezogen und wird für drei Wochen fehlen.

- Auch Thiago Motta hats ich weider einmal gesundheitliche Probleme. Und zwar wurde bei ihm eine Zyste im linken Fuß, genauer gesagt im Nagelbett seines großen Zehs, gefunden. Er wird am Montag operiert, erst dann können die Ärzte bestimmen wie lange er nicht trainieren darf. Es sieht aber nicht gut aus, denn er hatte schon früher sehr große Probleme mit seinen Fußnägeln, die des öfteren auch der Grund für seine zahlreichen Ausfälle waren.

- Etwas positiveres: Laut Mundo Deportivo soll Barca entgegen der Aussagen der Verantwortlichen das Transferprogramm für die kommende Saison noch nicht abgeschlossen haben. Man soll noch immer auf der Scuhe nach einem Innenverteidiger sein. Kandidaten für diesen Posten sollen Jorge Andrade von La Coruna und der in Zusammenhang mit Barca schon oft genannte Gonzalo Rodriguez _Argentinien_/_Spanien_ sein.

Die Never-Ending-Story um Javier Saviola könnte doch noch positiv enden. Txiki hatte heute bekräfitgt, dass man Saviola unter keinen Umständen herschenken möchte. Wenn bis Donnerstag keine Lösung gefunden wird, und danach sieht es derzeit aus, ist er bei der Asien-Tour dabei. Es gibt zwar einige Offerte für ihn, allerdings wollen viele Vereine nur einen kleinen Teil der von Barca geforderten Ablöse zahlen.

Er wird auch unter keinen Umständen von der Mannschaft isoliert, falls er bei Barca bleibt (bei Dani und Bonano war dies der Fall). Hoffentlich...

Barcelona bemüht sich weiterhin um Jorge Andrade von Deportivo La Coruna. Viel Hoffnung hab ich allerdings nicht, da man ja weiß, wie Depor in punkto Transfers (wie bei Luque) sein kann....
