Das ist ungerecht... aber wahr

That's exactly how it is in Scottish football. I went to my first Sturm home game a couple of weeks ago (B-W Linz) and that was my first ever pint inside a stadium. A wild experience for someone who's only ever experienced Scottish stadiums! Although I suspect it was a different substance that fueled Sunday. Danke. Ich auch

The rest of Scotland is embarrassed. Whenever we make progress, especially towards the ban on alcohol inside stadiums (which was caused by Rangers and Celtic fans...), these two need to ruin it. Sadly, we won't see any punishment. They're the darlings of the Scottish football authorities.

Thank you! Hopefully I can be more sociable pre-match than I was. My gf is over in Jennersdorf. I have no choice there!

Sorry to revive an oldish topic and for my English! In my defense, it's my first day back at work after my visit to Südburgenland. The match wasn't the best but I'm so happy that my first match at Liebenau was a win. I loved every minute of the experience. Even when I was nervously waiting to see if my Friday 20th flight was affected by the snow Danke allen. Gemma Schwoaze!

This will be my first trip to the Liebenau. I can't wait! I hope we remember how to play football though. -

I've seen this manager situation a few times in Scotland recently. Youth coach is promoted to manager (interim at first), does well, and falls apart in their second season. JS could be a good coach, but a good coach doesn't mean they're a good manager. I remember thinking earlier in the season that I hadn't checked the league table in a while, that Sturm weren't performing great, and I thought we'd be in the middle of the league table given the performances I'd seen and some results. We were top at the time. Even now in second with only 1 point behind, it is flattering us. After Wolfsberg, struggling against Admira and B-W Linz, and now losing to Tirol, a change needs to happen now starting with JS. We've already lost 4 of our last 7 games from winning positions and drew 1 from a winning position. A 1-0 win and a 0-0 draw in the other games. That can't continue.

Congratulations Seeing Austria qualify made the evening even better!

Wunderschön

Only in the main (east) stand of the stadium. It'll be open before and after the match until 4pm though. There are some unofficial market stalls just before you reach the stadium that sell scarves and badges before the match. JD Sports sell replica shirts but no scarves.

Sadly there are no TV rights in the UK. OneFootball stopped showing ÖFB this season. I'm still mad at them for that! Frankenstein's or Belushi's (I watched Sturm-Rangers there, for example) might be your best chance but I highly doubt they would have any way of showing it. I would invite you to watch it at my place but I'll be at Hearts vs Celtic Also, just wanted to say thank you all again for Thursday. Those of you I met in the bar and at the game were super nice and the atmosphere was incredible. I won't forget it. Danke allen

3. Spieltag EL: Celtic Glasgow - SK Sturm Graz

A missed opportunity. You can't retreat at 1:0 when the defence isn't strong. Celtic are fragile lately and aggressiveness for longer could've given us a different score. Still, it was an incredible experience being there with you. Danke -
Zug für mich. Bus aus Buchanan Street ist auch gut und 24 Stunden. Zug: Both Celtic and Rangers are going through a period of disillusionment. Celtic fans are protesting against the board for poor investment in the squad, Brendan Rodgers is half-assing it and engineering his exit with a lot of his comments, and fans don't feel good about the club at the moment. Where is everybody going before the match? Might try to join you guys and get a taste of the atmosphere

I need to go see this 😂

Kiti mein liebe. -
And it finished 0:2. Celtic look weak. Vulnerable to corners and free kicks. Very dull in attack. They're there for the taking. It is potentially a fantastic week for me

Buses from Glasgow to Edinburgh run 24 hours and stop at Edinburgh Airport. You could theoretically get drunk in Glasgow until 3am and still make an 8am flight from Edinburgh. Whether you should or not, I won't be the judge of that! https://www.citylink.co.uk/timetables-service-updates/glasgow-edinburgh-airport/

I am quite drunk right now, my voice is hanging by a thread, but I am very very happy

My Hearts pub is the Athletic Arms, commonly known as The Diggers. It got that nickname as it's next to a graveyard, so the grave diggers used to go in for a pint after their shift. Bannermans is a great rock/metal pub in the centre of Edinburgh. Legends is a good rock/metal nightclub if that's your thing. Jolly Judge is very small, a little hidden, but very good. Pretty much just walk down the Royal Mile and the Grassmarket/Cowgate, a lot of good pubs. Innis & Gunn is a local beer and my favourite, and they have their own pub where the beer is as fresh as it can be. My recommendations are The Original (brewed in old whisky casks) and the Lager Beer. Edit: I forgot about Belushi's. Sports bar that I watched Sturm-Rangers in last night. They will definitely show Hearts-Celtic if you can't get a ticket. Decent beer. Avoid Brewdog, awful company. Avoid Tennents, it's Glasgow pisswater Tickets would be almost impossible. We have a long season ticket waiting list so they get priority on resale. Plus it's always highly sought after. It's worth a try, and I could check if one of my friends aren't going. Thomas Flögel is a legend with us. Helped end 36 years without a major trophy in 1998. We currently have Michael Steinwender and had Peter Haring until summer 2024. Haring was a cult hero, I loved him. Both from Eisenstadt, funnily enough. I forgot about David Witteveen Scored 1 goal against Rangers (ironically) and that was his only goal I think. As a forward. He wasn't good. I remember I nicknamed him Witt-the-f**k
