Campbell spielt für Hull ja offensichtlich überragend, soll nächste Saison auch eine Chance im United-Kader bekommen. Bin gespannt, ob Hull ein Angebot für eine fixe Verpflichtung macht, sollten sie wirklich (gar direkt?) aufsteigen.

Forest zurück in der CS nach einem 3-2 Sieg gegen Yeovil, dank der 1-2 Niederlage von Doncaster. Bournemouth hätte fast ein bemerkenswertes Fussballwunder geschafft. Aus den letzten sieben Spielen musste man sieben gewinnen. Nach sechs Siegen gab es heute nur ein Unentschieden und daher steigt man ab.

Die Saints () retten sich in einem wahren Krimi durch einen 3-2 Sieg gegen Sheffield United. Die Foxes müssen absteigen, schade darum.

Mit Stoke steigt wohl eine Mannschaft auf, die man als Fixabsteiger bezeichnen kann..

So tolle West Brom, als Meister dorthin zurück, wo sie hingehören!
Stoke erstmals seit 1985 wieder im top flight, in dem sie seit 1888 immerhin 52 Saisonen verbrachten.
Am Tiefpunkt Leicester City, die zum erstenmal in deren Geschichte in die 3. Liga absteigen müssen!

Div 7: AFC Wimbledon hat's ebenso, endlich, geschafft!
Nach einem 3:1 gegen Hornchurch gewannen die Dons auswärts bei Staines Town in einer dramatischen Begegnung 2:1. In den letzten beiden Saisonen scheiterte man jeweils im Play Off Semifinale. Damit wartet nächstes Jahr die Conference South! Das kann sich absolut sehen lassen! Zuseherschnitt übrigens ~2600.

AFC Wimbledon finally secured promotion out of the Ryman divisions in what was surely one of the most enthralling matches ever witnessed by Wimbledon fans. Conceding early, the Dons fought back with goals from Luis Cumbers and Mark De Bolla in a captivating contest, surrounded with controversy.

Supporters ran on to the pitch in elation to congratulate their players. Glorious and emotional scenes ensued as Jason Goodliffe lifted the play off trophy. The fans truly gave everything today, supporting their team to the last. As the celebrations commenced an overriding sense of pride surrounded all involved.

Terry Brown achieved what he set out to do and Wimbledon finally say goodbye to the Ryman divisions and step up to the Conference South. If cup results against teams at this level are anything to go by, this step up may not be so huge. The Conference South play offs are currently being contested by three of the four sides promoted from the Ryman League over the last two years. Fisher, Braintree and Hampton & Richmond have clearly found that level enjoyable enough, suggesting that Wimbledon is quite capable of fully utilising this opportunity. However for now, players, staff and fans can enjoy a quite incredible day and can bask in this glory throughout the summer. Today, credit must go to all involved, with extra directed in the way of the excellent Pullen and the daring De Bolla.

Lawrie Sanchez and Dave Beasant send their congratulations

In a call to Mick Pugh today, Lawrie Sanchez asked to be remembered to everyone at AFC Wimbledon and passed on his congratulations in winning the Rymans Premiership Playoff Final.

"What a fantastic performance! Please let the players, management and especially the fans at AFC Wimbledon, know that I am delighted at their hard-won success.

"It's an incredible achievement to beat Staines and complete a fantastic season, on top of the promotions already earned. Terry Brown and his squad must be justly proud and I'm sure, knowing the passion of the Dons fans, that the players appreciate the amazing level of support they have had all season.

"Just two more steps up the league pyramid and the Dons are back where they belong - in the football league."

Dave Beasant is in total agreement and sends his hearty congratulations. "Please tell the fans, players and all those working so hard at the club that I'm tremendously pleased and now it's onwards and upwards."

Both Lawrie and Dave have been totally supportive of AFC Wimbledon from the very beginning and hope to get along to see us soon in the Conference South.

Unglaublich, wenn man bedenkt, dass sie 2005 noch in der League 1 und ein Jahr davor in der League 2 aktiv waren.

Leeds United leider nicht in die Championship aufgestiegen!
Dafür aber die Doncaster Rovers.

Div 6: Scheint so, als hätte AFC Wimbledon nicht die schwersten Gegner zu Beginn bekommen um sich in der Conference South einzugewöhnen und liegt nach 4 Siegen in den ersten 4 Spielen an der Tabellenspitze. Sehr gut, weiter so!

am samstag 3:1 gegen leeds, gestern abend auswärts 2:1 gegen colchester gewonnen... und jetzt als zweiter auf einem momentanen aufstiegsplatz...

nicht auszudenken, wenn millwall aufsteigt (vielleicht noch leeds dazu) und man sich in der championship unter anderem auch mit den spurs (sieht diesbezüglich ja gut aus...) oder den ´hammers (mal sehen, wie sie den finanz-crash überstehen...) wiederfindet... dazu noch bristol, cardiff, swansea etc - love it :-)))

What's gone wrong at Charlton?

Nottingham Forest, Southampton und Charlton aktuell auf den drei Abstiegsplätzen in der Championship. Absolut desaströs, das sind drei Vereine die in die PL gehören. Die Saints haben noch dazu extreme finanzielle Probleme und stehen wohl vor einem Lizenzentzug, was mir persönlich extrem leid tut.

Auf den Aufstiegsplätzen sind aktuell die Wolves und B'ham. Reading, Blades, Burnley, Cardiff und eventuell PNE spielen um die Relegationsplätze.

Sylvain Ebanks-Blake (Absolvent aus der ManUtd-Academy) ist überlegener Torschützenlistenführender mit 24 Treffern, dahinter liegen Kevin Doyle und Jason Scotland mit jeweils 18 Toren.

Wolves seit heute quasi aufgestiegen (müssen noch 1/3 der restlichen Partien gewinnen um sicher zu gehen), Charlton quasi abgestiegen (haben nur mehr theoretische Chancen auf den Klassenerhalt).

B'ham, die Blades und Cardiff kämpfen um den zweiten Fixaufstiegsplatz, die beiden Verlierer in diesem Rennen spielen wohl mit Reading und Burnley in den Playoffs.
