Ich bezweifle dass das so klar ist.

Aber zurück zu Arsenal: Wie Thunder bin auch immer beeindruckt vom Power-Kombinationsfussball. Arsenal verwertet halt die Chancen nicht und ist hinten nicht mehr so sicher wie unter der Zeit Tony Adams und seinen Abwehr-Kumpanen. Vom Spiel sehr gefällt mir Arsenal sehr.

Das einzige was uns momentan abgeht ist ein richtiger Captain am Feld, jemand der mal das Heft in die Hand nimmt und mal etwas lauter wird wenns am Feld mal nicht sofort läuft, so einer wie Tony es war, wie Vieira es einer ist wenn er mal wieder spielen kann, denke das sobald er wieder fit ist es mit unsrem Spiel auch international wieder bergauf geht .. wir müssen nun nur noch schaun das man solange dabei bleibt in der Champions League, und ein Sieg im San Siro wäre dafür halt Voraussetzung, wird schwer, aber auf jedenfall machbar .. und sollte das geschafft sein dürfte dem Triple ja nichts mehr im Wege stehen

naja, gegen kiev war ljungberg eigentlich der antrieb von arsenal! er hat gekämpft bis zum umfallen, und die den anderen ordentlich die wadeln fire gricht also wenn er weiter so macht, nichts dagegen einzuwenden! wobei eine führungsperso wie adams kann er natürlich nie werden...

Arsenal three weeks away from stadium deal

Peter Hill-Wood said today that Arsenal will have the £200million needed to complete the funding for the club's new stadium at Ashburton Grove by the middle of next month.

Arsenal chairman Hill-Wood said: "I am very confident, more confident than I have ever been, that we will raise the money we require. At the moment, I would say that we will have the finance within three or four weeks. We think we are getting very close and we are very upbeat about it. We believe we have overcome all the stumbling blocks and we should be going ahead early in the New Year.

"Ken Friar and Danny Fiszman have been working on solving the Compulsory Purchase Order problems and they have made great progress." Chief shareholder Fiszman, chief executive Keith Edelman and his predecessor Friar have been working towards completing deals which will ensure Arsenal can finance the project. Arsenal have already secured £250m of the £450m needed to build the 60,000-capacity stadium.

Earlier this week, Standard Sport revealed that Arsenal could have the opportunity to move into a new stadium in Stratford, east London, should the capital win its bid to stage the 2012 Olympics.

After the games, the stadium's capacity will be reduced from 80,000 to 60,000 - the same as Ashburton Grove. It would also provide a ready-made - and considerably cheaper - alternative. But Hill-Wood insists agreement is near and that despite numerous objections and obstacles, the new stadium would go ahead. Some £100m has already been spent while a new sponsorship deal with Nike and the conversion of Highbury into flats will bring in around £150m to leave a £200m shortfall.

Hill-Wood added: " Of course at times you are always worried whether you will get the finance but we are now very close to getting the money we need."

Meanwhile, manager Arsene Wenger is considering recalling Moritz Volz from his loan spell at Fulham to cover for Lauren during his four-match suspension following September's controversial clash at Old Trafford.

According to SkySports.com Arsenal midfielder Gilberto Silva would consider Real Madrid.

"Signing for Arsenal was a good opportunity for me. England is a very important (footballing) country," said Silva.

"However, it's not such a good country sometimes because it is so cold!

"If one day I had the opportunity to play in Spain, for a big team, I would study the situation of course. Who knows?

"If Real Madrid were thinking about me it would make me very happy because they are one of the best teams in Europe, if not the best."

Silva praises manager Arsene Wenger:

"Arsene Wenger is a winner as a coach.

"He has won various titles, and working with him gives great calmness to the players."

Arsenal enter Defoe chase

Arsenal are poised to challenge Manchester United in the race to sign West Ham striker Jermain Defoe.

West Ham are ready to cash in on Defoe after lining up a £500,000 deal for Nottingham Forest's Marlon Harewood.

And, according to reports, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will declare an interest in £8m-rated Defoe.

If West Ham complete the Harewood deal, boss Alan Pardew will have a surplus of strikers to choose from at Upton Park, and may be tempted to cash in on Defoe.

West Ham have Defoe, as well as David Connolly, Brian Deane, on-loan Liverpool striker Neil Mellor - as well as the likely arrival of Harewood.

United have had a long-term interest in Defoe, but it is understood Wenger also sees him as a potential partner for Thierry Henry.
