Eines ist doch klar: Er hat das Zeug dazu, ein absoluter Topstar zu werden. Leider schöpft er sein Potential nicht annähernd aus. Wenn er sein Privatleben besser in den Griff bekommt, haben wir mit Adrian Mutu einen der besten Stürmer Europas in unseren Reihen.

mit seinem privatleben hat das nicht mehr viel zu tun, in der Nationalmannschaft spielt er meistens gut(2 freistosstore in 2 spielen) ich glaube ehrlich gesagt nicht das er in mourinhos konzept passt

Didier Drogba has had his yellow card from Chelsea's match with Aston Villa rescinded by referee Rob Styles.

The African marksman was adjudged to have dived inside the box after a challenge with Ulises de la Cruz at Villa Park.

Chelsea fans were screaming for a penalty when Drogba hit the deck but Styles thought he had deliberately tried to win a spot kick, and booked the former Marseille striker.

However, after looking at the incident on video, Styles has decided that Drogba did not dive and has rescinded the yellow card.

Styles believes that Drogba was not deliberately trying to deceive him and the booking will not now count against the Ivory Coast international.

Meanwhile, Drogba admits he is still striving to adapt to playing in The Premiership.

Drogba was a club record signing from Marseille over the summer and has netted once in five appearances for The Blues.

He has sporadically looked sharp but he concedes he is not yet up to full speed in the English game.

"I have to adapt to a new life, a new football," Drogba told L'Equipe. "I have not found my level from last season.

"The English league is very difficult too. Honestly, it is more difficult than in France on the physical impact and pace levels. Marking is harsher too."

But while Drogba continues to find his feet on the pitch, he has been buoyed by the atmosphere in the expensively assembled Stamford Bridge dressing room.

He added: "I can't believe it. I am overjoyed. What I feel in that club is exceptional."

Drogba has an early chance to demonstrate what Ligue 1 is missing when Chelsea tackle Paris Saint Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

The powerful striker is relishing the game at Parc des Princes and is wary of a backlash from PSG, who have endured a turbulent start to the domestic season.

"It is a very special match," he continued. "I will have a lot of fun to play in it.

"It is an opportunity to come back to France, where I made a name for myself.

"I know very well that Chelsea will have a very difficult match. PSG is in a very difficult position in Le Championnat.

"At the moment, they don't play to their real value but PSG is a hurt beast."

Respekt, allerdings muss man dem Schiedsrichter trotzdem zum Vorwurf machen, dass er dieses klare Elferfoul an Drogba nicht gesehen hat!

Souveräne Partie der Blues! Man ließ PSG nicht den Hauch einer Chance und dominierte die Partie über 90 Minuten! Lamps war heute wieder extraklasse.

Stimmt Chelsea war klar überlegen.

Ich habe zwar nur die erste Hälfte gesehen, aber das 2 : 0 sah echt cool aus vor allem weil Drogba den Ball nicht richtig traf.

Ich glaube er hat schon gedacht, dass der Ball daneben geht.

Wenn Mourinhos Fußball nicht zum Meistertitel führt, weiß ich es auch nicht. Ich glaube, dass Chelsea heuer kein Gegentor mehr bekommen wird.

Tja so toller Beattie hat das wohl schon verhindert, ausserdem sollte man, wenn man Meister werden will, gegen die Yids daheim gewinnen...

Ich würde eher sagen, dass Chelseas Fussball heuer ,bisher, einfach fad ist.

Ich würde eher sagen, dass Chelseas Fussball heuer einfach fad bisher ist.

So kann man das auch sagen. Ich hab' die Blues heuer erst 4 mal gesehen. In der Champions League schien der Knoten zu platzen, aber jetzt kam der Rückfall gegen die Spurs. Hinten steht man zwar bombensicher, aber im Sturm reicht eben ein Klassemann (Drogba) nicht aus. Mateja hat mir in der Vorbereitung gut gefallen, kommt aber in der Meisterschaft noch nicht so gut zurecht. Adrian Mutu ist meilenweit von seiner Form entfernt. Hoffnung auf Besserung besteht auch nicht unbedingt, da Mourinho auch schon in Porto für seine destruktive Spielweise bekannt war und seine Philosophie wohl nicht grundlegend ändern wird.

laiut heutiger Kronen Zeitung wird der Stürmer-Star Didier Drogba für mehrere Wochen wegen einer Leistenzerrung ausfallen!

Jetzt kann sich Kezman beweisen ob er einen Stammplatz verdient!

Mutu hits out at Mourinho

 

Out-of-favour Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu has accused coach Jose Mourinho of saying he is injured to prevent him playing in a World Cup qualifier.

Mutu insists he is fit and has flown out for Romania's tie against the Czech Republic on Saturday.

"I am in an open conflict with Mourinho who forbade me to go to my national team and said I was injured.

"It is not true - I have been in good condition for five days and he knew that," Mutu told The Sun.

The 25-year-old may face a fine when he returns to Stamford Bridge, and believes he may now have to find another club.

"I don't care about being fined. I want everyone to know that the national team is the most important thing for me," he added.

Mutu's absence from Chelsea's squad in their 1-0 win over Liverpool on Sunday was attributed to a knee injury.

But Mutu said: "I told Mourinho I was fit. He disagreed and showed me a piece of paper from the medical staff claiming I wasn't. But I know I am fit.

"Mourinho has promised me that I would play in the first team for some games.

"Then I wasn't even in the squad and I don't understand why.

"Probably the only solution, even if I don't want it, is to find another team."
