Vollkommen richtig, dass man sich drüber lustig macht...also manchmal frag ich mich echt

Andererseits kann ich United auch verstehen - warum hat man keine Geldsorgen? Weil der Nachwuchs, der vor 10 Jahren groß rausgekommen ist, es oft nicht nötig gemacht hat, großartig zu investieren (natürlich sind dann wieder mal Kaliber gekommen, aber nicht so wie bei anderen Klubs, die pro Jahr €50 Millionen für Neuzugänge ausgeben)

Mal schauen, wie weit Leeds den Preis noch rauftreibt - ab einem gewissen Punkt würd ich auch sagen: Danke nein, schiebts ihn euch sonst wohin! Nichts gegen Alan, sollte er zu uns kommen, hoffe ich, dass er mich eines Besseren belehrt, aber einen Stürmer mit seiner Klasse kriegen wir, wenn wir noch ein paar Mille drauflegen, sicherlich auch irgendwo anders!

Manchester United striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admits this could be his last game for the club today.

Ahead of today's FA Cup final with Millwall, the Norwegian said: "The six months I was out was the easy bit - coming back and trying to find my form again has been the hard part.

"While I've been out players have come in and taken their chances.

"But I hope I can be part of the FA Cup final, whether it be for five minutes or 90 minutes. Even if I don't start, I know I can come on and change a game because I've done it before.

"I'm still sure I am good enough to play for Manchester United. That is not always my decision, but that is the challenge - to prove I am good enough."

Nicky Butt has admitted that the FA Cup final could bring to an end his career at Old Trafford. The long-serving midfielder rejected a move away from Old Trafford in January.

"I made the decision to stay in January and I stand by that,'' he said. "But the manager might have different thoughts in the summer. I don't know where I stand at the minute.

"If you leave Manchester United you are taking a step down. I am trying not to think about it just now but I will look at it again after the summer is over.''

The 29-year-old knows, however, that his long-term prospects with the Red Devils are not good.

"No-one in their right minds would want to leave Manchester United if they were happy and playing football,'' he added. "But I wasn't doing that before January and I came to an agreement with the manager that if the right club came in for me I would move on.

"There was a lot of interest and offers but I knew it had to be perfect.

"I didn't want to do anything silly and rush into a decision that I would regret in the years that followed.

"Nothing that came up was perfect for me, which is why I decided to stick it out.

Ronaldo hat ja wirklich wieder ein paar Gusto-stücke gezeigt. Diese arge Flanke so um die 10. Minute war ein Traum (ich weis gar nicht wie ich die bescheiben soll) - die hab ich mir heute auf Video 6-7 Mal angeschaut - einfach unglaublich.

Was Ronaldo zeigt ist nicht mal nur brotlose Kunst, sondern meistens führt es auch zu etwas

Also fürs rechte Mittelfeld brauchen wir wirklich keinen Neuen, auch wenn oft darüber geredet worden ist. Da sind wir mit Ronaldo und Fletcher wirklich sehr gut besetzt jetzt.

Man Utd want Smith's Leeds pal Milner

Manchester United won't stop at prising Alan Smith away from Leeds United this week.

Smith is expected to join United tomorrow in an £8 million deal, but the Observer says teammate James Milner is also a target.

United boss Sir Alex Ferguson rates Milner highly and has been encouraged by Leeds' denial of reports that Tottenham had negotiated first refusal for the youngster.

A bid of £5 million could be enough for Fergie to land Milner, who would arrive as an alternative to PSV Eindhoven winger Arjen Robben. Robben chose Chelsea over United in February.

Atletico Madrid, Zaragoza can land Man Utd's Forlan for £1M

Manchester United are ready to write-off as much as £10 million for striker Diego Forlan.

Atletico Madrid and Real Zaragoza have both been in touch about the Uruguayan, who can leave Old Trafford for a knockdown £1 million.

Forlan was a £7.8m signing from Argentine outfit Independiente in January 2002 and will demand that United pay up most of the three years left on his contract.

With wages of £45,000 a week, that works out at £6.75m.

Manchester United are on the verge of signing Paris Saint Germain defender Gabriel Heinze this week.

The Argentina international will reject an enquiry from Chelsea to join United. The deal could be agreed as soon as this week.

PSG signed Heinze's replacement on Saturday in Nantes stopper Sylvain Armand. The versatile Argie will move to Old Trafford for £6 million.

Smith is set to join United in a £6 million transfer and a source close to the talks told the People: "We were keen to get him and the player was keen to come.

"Alan is very passionate about what he sees as a chance to play for a massive club.

"If only every deal was so easy."

A fee has been agreed between the clubs and personal terms "were not a problem", added the source.

As a result of the transfer, Leeds fans are set to withhold Smith's player of the year award in protest.

Verdammt, ich habs auch schon gelesen! Mich würde echt interessieren, was Fergie, Gill & Co. da reitet, diesen Bastard zu verpflichten! Alle United Anhänger haben schon noch in Erinnerung, was Mr. Smith vor 2-3 Jahren in Richtung MUFC so von sich gegeben hat (und bitte, jetzt will ich nichts von "ihr seid so nachtragend" hören)! Falls er also wirklich kommen sollte, hätte er einen sehr sehr schweren Stand bei den Fans! Um das zu ändern, müssen da schon grandiose Leistungen von ihm kommen!
