Casino Salzburg - Steaua Bukarest CL 1994-95

Hello to everybody here.

I know this is not a regular message on your website, but I have taken this chance to try and complete my collection.Sorry for writing in English but I cannot speak Germn, I hope this is OK for you.

I am Vlad a Romanian fan of Steaua Bukarest currently building an online museum of Steaua Bukarest in European Cups.

In the past I got great help here from a wonderful person with materials from LASK Linz Steaua and I thought to write on this forum as well.

I am currently working with the 1994-1995 season in which my team played a double against your team (Casino Salzburg - Steaua 0-0 and Steaua - Casino Salzburg 1-0). It was the play-off of the old Champions League matches.

I am interested in any memorabilia from those matches (if there could still be some available). I mean here match programmes (if there were any edited), tickets, pennants etc. I also wonder if a full copy of the matches can exist on VHS or DVD. Also scans of the programme could be wonderful if not possible to receive any. I will try to do my best in order to offer stuff in return.

but I can at least give you a tip:

Post this again in the SV Austria Salzburg channel a bit further down in the Forum,

the guys in there are also old fans of SV Casino Salzburg.

That might increase your chances to score some of that stuff.

I can't remember anything about these two games in special, but i remember, that Salzburg was sayed to be odds-on favourite due to their success in the years befor... and - what i remember best (because i did not understand, how this could happend) is - that after the 2nd game, when Salzburg already got knocked out, the fans of (i guess it was) Rapid Vienna chanted out "STEAU BUKAREST", to use Salzburgs disappointment for their advantage, even if the K.O. of Salzburg was not good for the austrian league...
