vielmehr schrieb der messaggero (röm. tageszeitung) dass cassetti quasi verpflichtet ist. man müsse sich noch über details des wechsels einig werden. das bestätigte auch der manager von lecce.

L'ex centrocampista del Celtic Glasgow Didier Agathe, che ha rescisso dopo sei anni il proprio contratto con il club cattolico di Glasgow, è stato visto in diverse occasioni passeggiare a pochi metri dalla sede della As Roma, circostanza che potrebbe far pensare a un dialogo fra il giocatore e il club giallorosso.

The marauding full back is a free agent having severed his ties with Celtic in January.

He saw proposed moves to Bolton and Arsenal fall through during the January transfer window and has cut a frustrated figure in the last couple of months.

Agathe's free-transfer status caught the eye of Roma, and president Franco Sensi invited him to the Eternal City for talks last week.

The Duo are believed to have got on well and Sensi has invited Agathe to train with Roma.

"Signor Sensi invited me to train with the club," the 30-year-old told the Daily Record. "But because I didn't feel physically ready after not playing for several weeks I promised him I'd return at the end of the month.

"Nothing has been settled with Roma but I will go there to train and talk.

"I have a great desire to play in a new league and Serie A excites me just like The Premiership and La Liga.

"The chance to play in Italy has been offered to me now, though, and going to Roma would be the top choice."

ROMA - Marco Cassetti, 29 anni a fine maggio, difensore esterno del Lecce, nella prossima stagione giocherà con la maglia della Roma. La notizia non è ancora ufficiale solo perchè non può ancora esserlo, dato che il club di Franco Sensi fino al prossimo 30 giugno ha il mercato bloccato dalla sentenza dell’Uefa sul “caso Mexes”. Di certo, la Roma e il club salentino, ieri nella capitale, hanno raggiunto l’accordo per il trasferimento del giocatore a partire dal prossimo luglio al “Bernardini”. E, a quanto risulta, lo stesso Cassetti ha già raggiunto l’accordo economico con la società di Trigoria, con un contratto di tre anni. Secondo indiscrezioni, al Lecce non andranno soltanto soldi ma anche una contropartita tecnica.

Il nome di Cassetti, due presenze con la maglia azzurra della Nazionale di Marcello Lippi, circolava da tempo nell’orbita di mercato giallorosso: una volta affrontata in campionato la squadra pugliese, la Roma è passata all’azione, facendo un primo, importante passo verso la stagionce che verrà. Detto questo, va aggiunto che per un giocatore in arrivo ce n’è un altro che sembra davvero in partenza, Doni. Nonostante i contatti che anche ieri ci sono stati tra una parte del clan del brasiliano e i dirigenti della Roma, l’accordo è lontanissimo. Oggi, forse, un tentativo in extremis. La Roma non vuole perdere altro tempo. Ecco perché, nelle ultime ore, è tornato di attualità il nome di Christian Abbiati. Il Milan sembra disposto a darlo ancora una volta in prestito e la Roma è in prima linea, anche perchè Spalletti lo ha messo in cima alla lista dei portieri preferiti. A questo punto, non è escluso che alla fine, per tutta una serie di motivi, Doni finisca o al Milan oppure alla Juventus proprio per sostituire Abbiati.

L’unico dubbio è legato al fatto che Spalletti domani potrebbe preservarlo, dato che Doni oggi verrà squalificato dopo il “giallo” rimediato contro il Lecce. Un “giallo” che ha fatto arrabbiare parecchio l’allenatore, anche se appare fuori discussione che il brasiliano non l’abbia cercato: la perdita di tempo, infatti, sarebbe stata frutto di un malinteso con Chivu, che a fine gara si è scusato con il compagno. Contro il Palermo, domani (ore 21, diretta su Raidue, arbitro Racalbuto), è probabile che alla fine vada in campo una Roma 2 o quasi. Questo perché Spalletti potrebbe far tirare il fiato a qualcuno dei titolari in vista dell’impegno di sabato, fondamentale per la volata Champions. Tutto sta a capire che importanza dà, adesso, la Roma alla coppa Italia. Spalletti, intanto, ha abolito il ritiro pre-partita: appuntamento direttamente domani mattina a Trigoria. Giocatori come Mexes e Perrotta non stanno bene, alla pari di Aquilani, e domani potrebbero restare a guardare, insieme con Totti e Montella. The new deal will also see the international striker net a significant pay increase, more than double what he currently earns.

The alleged extension clearly underlines the faith that Juventus have in the striker despite his mediocre campaign.

Palermo have dismissed reports that they have agreed a deal with Juventus over the sale of Andrea Barzagli.

Stories in the peninsula on Wednesday insisted that the Italian international would be heading to the Stadio Delle Alpi in the summer.

While owner Maurizio Zamparini has admitted that Juve are first in the queue for the stopper, he maintains Barzagli is going nowhere for now.

“Barzagli will certainly not be leaving at the end of this season and probably not even at the end of the next one,” Zamparini claimed.

“All I said was that he will be a regular for Italy and if I did opt to sell him then Juventus have an option to buy.”

Barzagli is an Under-21 European champion with Italy and is expected to make the World Cup squad, even if he is unlikely to replace either Alessandro Nesta or Fabio Cannavaro in the starting line-up.

The former Piacenza player, a promising centre-back, has spent two seasons at the Stadio Renzo Barbera after arriving from Chievo Verona.

ich find juve soll den ibra verkaufen, solange er noch teuer ist. wie ein junges "supertalent" ganz schnell im wert verfallen kann, hat man ja bei cassano gesehen (will da bitte keinen cassano ibra vergleich lostreten). 5 millionen pfund sind fantasiesummen, sogar für chelsea. ich hoffe, er wird verkauft. wieso ist es eigentlich so wahrscheinlich, dass capello geht? immerhin hat er heuer den scudetto geholt und angeblich will er doch bis 09 in turin bleiben, oder?

2. die citadella dello sport wurde heute von bürgermeister veltroni abgesegnet und kann ab sofort gebaut werden. ursprünglich sollte da glaub ich lazio mitmachen, daraus wird aber nichts. jetzt heisst das projekt citadella della roma.

es handelt sich dabei um ein projekt mit mehreren trainingsplätzen für alle mannschaften der as roma, 78.000 m² wohnfläche, und weitere kommerzielle flächen im stadtteil torrevecchia.

dieses projekt ist ein grosser schritt zur entschuldung der roma.

3. das stadio flaminio und das stadio olimpico in rom werden saniert. das stadio flaminio wird 40.000 sitzplätze haben und in zukunft wahrscheinlich die heimspielstätte von lazio rom sein. uns gehört dann alleine das olimpico.

Crespo zurück nach Milano!?

On the day that Milan and Inter play each other in Serie A, both clubs are set to also battle it out on the transfer market for Hernan Crespo.

Reports in Italy on Friday insist that the Chelsea striker is wanted by the two sides which he has oddly enough already played for in his career.

Milan are interested in recalling the Argentine after his excellent loan campaign at the San Siro in the 2004-05 season.

Although he did initially struggle, boss Carlo Ancelotti – who also worked with him at Parma – kept the faith and Crespo went on to net some crucial goals in the process.

The Rossoneri did attempt to extend his loan stint for an extra season, but when no terms could be agreed with Chelsea, the forward was recalled to Stamford Bridge.

Milan want him back to add to their trio of superstar attackers in the shape of Andriy Shevchenko, Pippo Inzaghi and Alberto Gilardino.

Crespo’s proposed arrival would see Marcio Amoroso sold after his failure to make an impact since his arrival in January as cover for Monaco bound Christian Vieri.

But Inter are desperate for Crespo too after their struggles in front of goal this term, largely down to the dip in form of Adriano.

The Brazilian hasn’t lived up to his billing, Alvaro Recoba and Obafemi Martins are considered as too inconsistent, while Julio Cruz is regarded as nothing more than a substitute.

Crespo, who netted seven League goals in 18 games during the 2002-03 season for Inter before his London move, is highly valued by President Giacinto Facchetti and boss Roberto Mancini.

Chelsea may be willing to sell Crespo, especially with Adriano, Fernando Torres of Atletico Madrid and Barca’s Samuel Eto’o all linked with the Premiership club.

Rosickys Landsmann und Teamkollege in der tschechischen Nationalmannschaft, Pavel Nedved, jedenfalls hat der "Alten Dame" empfohlen, sich um den 25-Jährigen zu bemühen.

"Die perfekte Lösung" für Juve

Italienischen und spanischen Medienberichten zufolge hat der 33 Jahre alte Juve-Star Turins Sportdirektor Luciano Moggi und Trainer Fabio Capello Rosicky als seinen Nachfolger ans Herz gelegt.

Der Dortmunder sei die "perfekte Lösung" für die Probleme des Rekordmeisters im Mittelfeld, wird Nedved zitiert. Juve habe sich nicht abgeneigt gezeigt, hieß es weiter.

Vertrag von Atletico liegt schon vor

Rosickys Berater Pavel Paska weiß allerdings noch nichts von einem möglichen Interesse aus Italien. "Es gab noch keinen Kontakt zu Juve", sagte er.

"Aber es ist schön von Pavel Nedved, dass er eine so hohe Meinung von Tomas hat." Erst vor drei Wochen hatte Paska bestätigt, dass seinem Klienten ein Vierjahresvertrag von Atletico vorliegt.

War zu erwarten, dass so etwas kommen würde. Ist ja nicht so das Nedved das zum ersten mal erwähnt. Lese aus diesem Artikel auch heraus, das Pavel wohl eingesehen hat, das es mit seiner Karriere bei Juventus zu Ende geht, und er womöglich im Sommer in seine Heimat nach Tschechien wechseln wird, um dort seine erfolgreiche Karriere ausklingen zu lassen.

Ob Rosicky die perfekte Lösung für Juventus ist, laut Nedved, weiss ich nicht, da ich Rosicky immer noch nicht ganz einschätzen kann. Für meine Begriffe ist er mit seinen 25 Lenzen noch zu unkonstant um den Durchbruch zum Weltklassespieler zu schaffen. Kann aber sein, das er gerade diesen Durchbruch bei Juve schafft, weil er dort Mitspieler hätte mit einem höherem Niveau, wer weiss?

Klar, mir soll derzeit jeder etwas jüngere Spielmacher lieb sein, doch es gibt bestimmt bessere Lösungen als Rosiscky, nicht all zu viele, doch es gibt sie. Einen Transfer würde ich aber zu 100% als positiv bewerten, denn in seinem Alter kann noch viel passieren.
