Pinturicchio fino alla fine Beitrag melden Geschrieben 12. September 2004 (bearbeitet) Moldova 0-1 Italy Azzurri Ratings: Buffon leads way -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Buffon: Was rarely tested but made two outstanding saves to keep Moldova out and ensure his side the three points. 7/10 Bonera: Was selected ahead of Massimo Oddo and the Parma ace performed reasonably well. 6/10 Materazzi: The Inter stopper, in for the injured Fabio Cannavaro, looked very shaky yet again. His tackling was as ferocious as ever but some of his passes were amateurish. 5.5/10 Nesta: Widely regarded as the best defender in the world, Nesta underlined why again last night. Read the game as if he studied it the night before, he was simply class. 7/10 Zambrotta: Another fine performance from the left-back who gave it his all as usual. 6.5/10 Gattuso: The Milan warrior put in a typical Gattuso performance. He closed down, made challenges and almost scored – with a delicate chip of all things. 6.5/10 Ambrosini: Brought into the midfield by Lippi, Ambrosini struggled to leave his mark on the game. He made a few challenges but did little else. 5.5/10 Pirlo: Saw plenty of the ball but wasn’t able to really do anything with his vision. Fans are still waiting for his club form to emerge on the international stage. 6/10 Diana: A disappointing display from Diana who didn’t seem to contribute to the team effort. He also missed three clear chances to score. 5.5/10 Del Piero: He scored, he hit the post and tested the ‘keeper on numerous occasions. He looked dangerous in the box but a lot less threatening outside of it. 6.5/10 Gilardino: A better performance than his debut against Norway. Gilardino didn’t really have a scoring opportunity but he did OK and was key in the build up to Del Piero’s goal. 6/10 Oddo, Toni, Blasi: All three came on as second half substitutes. No vote Coach Lippi: His side didn’t play as well as they did against Norway but a second successive victory is what counts. Did well to keep the faith with Gilardino but questions remain about his use of Diana on the right. 6.5/10 channel4.com HIER, das Tor von Del Piero. bearbeitet 12.
