Juventus consider Inter Milan's Almeyda

Juventus are considering a shock move for Inter Milan midfielder Matias Almeyda.

The 31 year-old Argentine is off contract and was expected to leave Italy to continue his career.

But Juve's problems in attempting to take Emerson away from AS Roma has forced their director general, Luciano Moggi, to seriously consider offering Almeyda a deal to come to Turin.

Almeyda will have to take a big wage-cut from his Inter contract to move to Juve, but the opportunity to be part of Fabio Capello's revolution will be tempting for the veteran.

Wäre zwar nach Kapo und Zebina der dritte Spieler denn man ablösefrei bekommen würde, bin aber rotzdem absolut gegen einen möglichen Transfer. Almeyda hat mir noch nie wirklich gefallen, außerdem wäre ein Transfer gar nicht notwendig, haben mit Tacchinardi, Maresca, Appiah, Blasi und Brighi genug Spielertypen dieser Art. Im Artikel wurde geschrieben, das der Argentinier einen Großteil seines Jahresgehaltes einbüsen müsse um zu Juve zu kommen.

OK, für 0,1 Mio. € im Jahr soll er halt kommen.

Emerson's Destiny Still Unclear

Emerson's future remains unclear, although Juventus are still the favourites for the player's signature.

His agent Gilmar Veloz will meet with Roma tomorrow in order too clarify the situation.

The Giallorossi's intention seems to be to confirm the agreement with Real Madrid, but Emerson has made it clear he wishes to join Juventus.

Inter are also on the scene. It would appear that the Nerazzurri have an agreement with Roma so that they can sign the Brazilian if he fails to move to Madrid.

Tomorrow it is expected that Juve will send a representative to Rome to try and convince the Giallorossi to respect the principle agreement that the Turin club have with Emerson.

Stimmt, doch mMn brauchen wir nicht einmal ihn. Man sollte das Geld lieber für einen Innenverteidiger ausgeben, oder für einen Strafraumstürmer falls Trezeguet nun doch geht. Ansonsten wirklich nur mehr einen Innenverteidiger Ferrari, Squillaci, Mexes, Cannavaro,...) und vielleicht noch Jankulovski
