chinomoreno Im ASB-Olymp Beitrag melden Geschrieben 30. Hier auf englisch: Sevilla bans TV match broadcasts UEFA Cup champion Sevilla will not allow TV broadcasts of its Spanish league and Copa del Rey games this season. Sevilla said on Monday it made the decision because it has received a reduced offer from one of the partners which hold the rights to show games in the two competitions. It said the company involved was either Mediapro and Sogecable but didn't say which. The club said the treatment it has received from both companies "doesn't correspond with the relevance of Sevilla in national and international soccer, nor with the value of televised soccer both nationally and internationally.'' The ban encompasses all types of broadcast, such as live matches, highlights or pay-per-view, Sevilla said. It will also include the team's away games. Sevilla, whose UEFA Cup title last season was its first in Europe, will play in the competition again this season although those games will be broadcast. The first game to be affected will be Sevilla's opening match of the league season against newly promoted Levante. sportsillustrated.cnn.com 0 Zitieren Diesen Beitrag teilen Link zum Beitrag Auf anderen Seiten teilen
chinomoreno Im ASB-Olymp Beitrag melden Geschrieben 3. Oktober 2006 Nach langwierigen und der Reihe nach gescheiterten Verhandlungen mit mehreren Anbietern ist das Problem jetzt endlich gelöst: Sevilla signs TV deal UEFA Cup champion Sevilla signed a three-year TV broadcast deal with Santa Monica Sport on Saturday, raising expectations that the blackout of its matches will soon end. Sevilla's games haven't been shown this season because of the club's rejection last month of an offer from its former broadcast partner, Audiovisual Sport. Santa Monica Sports is now expected to re-negotiate with Audiovisual Sport, which holds broadcast rights for all other 19 first-division clubs. It may also involve a free-to-air or pay-box broadcaster to set up a three-way deal. "The contract satisfies Sevilla FC's financial aspirations in this area," Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido was quoted as saying by the club's Web site. The UEFA Cup triumph in May was Sevilla's first European trophy in its history. Last month, it beat FC Barcelona to win the European Super Cup. foxsports.com 0 Zitieren Diesen Beitrag teilen Link zum Beitrag Auf anderen Seiten teilen
