Nicolas Gillet and Vitorino Hilton

"Lens have bolstered their defence for next season by signing Nicolas Gillet and Vitorino Hilton.

The northern side, who resumed training on Monday, have agreed a three-year deal with 27-year-old Gillet, whose contract with Nantes ended this month.

"I am very glad to have joined a club like Lens, who had been following me for a while," said Gillet, who won the French title with Les Canaris in 2001.

Hilton, a 27-year-old Brazilian, has put pen to paper on a five-year contract with Lens from Swiss side Servette.

He said: "I wanted to discover the French Ligue 1 and impose my style."

Gillet and Hilton join midfielders Eric Cubilier and Eric Carriere, plus striker Daniel Cousin as new arrivals at Lens ahead of the 2004-05 season."

Ich hab zwar nicht gerade den Überblick über alle Transfers der franz. Liga, aber gibts eigentlich noch einen Spieler der bei Nantes bleibt Da bleibt ja nix gleich!

Ich hab zwar nicht gerade den Überblick über alle Transfers der franz. Liga, aber gibts eigentlich noch einen Spieler der bei Nantes bleibt    Da bleibt ja nix gleich!

Naja, das war doch im Grunde schon immer so und ist auch heuer nicht so ungewöhnlich. Nantes ist schon immer eine Art Ausbildungslager für größere Vereine gewesen. Sie bringen sie groß heraus und müssen sie dann abgeben, nur dass diese Saison auch einige erfahrene Spieler den Klub verlassen, sonst ist alles so wie es immer war.
