Juni 2004 Perrotta considers Porto switch Friday 11 June, 2004 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simone Perrotta admits he is considering a reunion with Coach Gigi Del Neri at Porto next season. “I could move to Porto,” confessed the Chievo midfielder, “even if my tendency is to prefer a stay in Italy.” The Italian international has been heavily linked with a switch to the reigning European Champions ever since Del Neri took over at the club. “However,” added the former Bari man, “Porto are in the Champions’ League and would give me the chance to play the Intercontinental Cup Final.
