Dehu set to join Marseille

PSG captain Frédéric Dehu has agreed to join arch-rivals Olympique de Marseille next season.

The 31-year-old defender, who quickly became a figure at the Parc des Princes since his arrival from Barcelona in 2000, has decided to leave the French capital to complete his move to UEFA Cup finalists Marseille.

PSG president Francis Graille confirmed the departure of the defender earlier this week. “We wanted him to stay and were in talks with Frédéric, but he wanted to land a good deal before ending his playing career. I can understand that.”

Dehu will be tied to l’OM for a minimum of two years. His transfer fees are yet to be disclosed. He is Marseille’s second signing this week, following the confirmation Sochaux and France international Benoit Pedretti had signed for the Southern outfit.

Gabriel Heinze ist auf dem Weg nach Manchester, Sorin wird wahrscheinlich abgegeben, war nur ausgeliehen von Cruzeiro, also liegen die Transferrechte bei ihnen, Interessenten gibt es genug und hinter Mendy ist halb England her. Es ist zwar bis jetzt nur Dehu fix, aber der Rest wird folgen, steht schon so gut wie fest.
