Bruce chases Larsson, Hartsson

Birmingham City are keen to make a double raid on Celtic to land strikers Henrik Larsson and John Hartson.

Larsson will leave Parkhead at the end of the season when his contract ends and his agent Rob Jansen has already revealed the Swede could consider a move to the Barclaycard Premiership.

His decision to quit Celtic is set to spark a race for his signature and Birmingham are keen to make their interest in the player known.

And they are hopeful of completing a double swoop by luring strike-partner Hartson - who has 18 months left on his current deal - back to England.

Chairman David Gold told the Scottish Daily Mail: 'Steve has a high regard for both players and who wouldn't want strikers like that?

'Henrik is a fantastic player with a scoring record that is second to none.

'I think you can take it there is every chance we will be coming after him come the end of the season.'

Meanwhile City may send striker Christophe Dugarry overseas in an effort to cure his ongoing knee problem.

The former World Cup winner has been frustrated by complications following the surgery he underwent in August.

Bruce said: 'Christophe will see our specialist on Monday and then he will have a second opinion. We're looking at a doctor in Belgium and also the United States.

'We are trying to get to the bottom of it to see if there is anything we are missing and to try to make sure we can clear this injury up.'

Hartson - nun ja - wie er City weiterhelfen soll lass ich mal außen vor - abgesehen davon wird dieser "Antikicker" sicher eher nach Birmingham wechseln als Larsson, der mit ja selber sagt dass er zurück in seine Heimat will bzw. kann ich mir bestenfalls vorstellen dass "der Hero" schlechthin, welcher er ja ohne Frage in Glasgow für die grün-weißen ist, seinen Vertrag dort verlängert!
