I am an honest fan of you from China named Zhou Jie .As English is my

second language, I hope I won¡¯t make too many mistakes in the letter.

Please allow me to say ¡°I love you¡± , for it¡¯s the truth .Now I swear

that no matter what will happen ,I will stand by your side and shout for

you forever !

    I am a football fan .My favorite team is you. You can¡¯t imagine how I

am fascinated with you. I play football, watch your games and talk about

you .If there is a football match of you on TV, I will get up at midnight

to watch it .Is you are beaten, I will be in low spirits, feeling sad and

keeping silent for several days. But if you win, I will keep talking about

the victory everywhere.

You have attracted me deeply since the moment I watch your game at the

first sight .It was in 2000 that I came to know you, and all in a sudden I

found your style exciting. Gradually, I collected a lot of information

about you .For some reasons, I have not much opportunity to watch your

match on TV but I never give up every chance to watch your games.

  I feel it a great joy that I have a computer .On Saturday, sometimes the

TV station doesn¡¯t relay your match, then I will get immediate information

about the latest match on your official website. Thanks to the Internet,

distance is not a problem at all. Football can connect the whole world.

  My room is not too big, especially when it is fully equipped with books

on your team. My bedroom wall is covered in many posters of your players.

Just over my bed, there is a picture of your city. I always dream of

visiting your stadium to watch your games. Unfortunately, up till now, I

just can dream.

    Football has always been the favorite sport in my family. I am on the

school football team, my father used to be on his university football team,

and my grandpa, his company football team. Though my mother has never

played football, she is an enthusiastic football fan. Whenever there is an

important football match in our city, we will go to the newly built Yellow

Dragon Football Stadium to watch and cheer to our heart¡¯s desire. After an

interesting match, we will have much heated discussion, football has indeed

given us much pleasure during our spare time and made us closer.

A lot of people in Hangzhou are enthusiastic football fan. During the

football season, they give up all their other amusements and devote

themselves to watching football games on TV or in the stadiums. Some even

go to other cities to cheer for their home tams. When there is an important

game, it is almost impossible to get tickets.

  Football is a very interesting sport, relying on both personal ability

and teamwork. You have to be a good thinker and a good mover at the same

time. So playing football is good practice to your mind. You have to have

agility and control of the ball to fit in with your teammates and to make

the strategic choices on how to play the game. You will try to create the

opportunity for your teammates, maybe not for yourself and it¡¯s a very

unselfish game. You are doing it for everyone, not just for yourself. Also,

football is a very international game. In every country of the world, you

can play it both in summer and winter, and it¡¯s very convenient, it¡¯s a

great spectator sport as well. If you can¡¯t play football, you can always

enjoy watching it.

It is known to all that China is a beautiful country, we have the Great

Wall, lovely panda and delicious food. There are many fans like me that

love you. I am sure you will have a big comeback soon.

  I do hope someday you and your team will come to China, to our city, I¡¯d

like to be able to tell you in person that I admire you.

I¡¯m afraid I have to stop now, but I will write again.
