Die FA startete heute Untersuchungen zu den Zuschauerausschreitungen beim Sheffielder Derby an der Bramall Lane Mitte Jänner.

FA investigate crowd trouble

The Football Association have confirmed they are looking into incidents of crowd trouble which occurred during last month's Sheffield derby.

The game between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United took place at Bramall Lane on 17 January with the Blades recording a 3-1 victory.

"The incidents that occurred were of a very serious nature," an FA Crowd Control Unit official told the governing body's official website.

"We have written to Sheffield United and to the police as we continue to gather information on this incident."
