Pinturicchio fino alla fine Beitrag melden Geschrieben 30. August 2004 Pompey land new striker Portsmouth have completed the signing of Senegalese striker Diomansy Kamara from Italian club Modena. The 23-year-old has agreed a three-year deal with Pompey, having initially been set to sign on loan. "We've worked on this all weekend. It's been exhausting," chief executive Peter Storrie told the club website. "But the end result is worth it because we have acquired another quality striker who some of the top clubs in Europe were interested in." Paris-born Kamara began his career with Red Star 93 in the French capital before joining Italian Serie C2 side Catanzaro during the 1999-2000 season. He made 34 league appearances and scored nine times for the Calabrian club before signing for Modena, where he scored 11 times in 57 games. Kamara will not play in Pompey's Premiership match against Fulham on Monday, but will be paraded at Fratton Park. bbc.com 0 Zitieren Diesen Beitrag teilen Link zum Beitrag Auf anderen Seiten teilen
