Ferdinand, 37, left Leicester at the end of last season and becomes Bolton's second summer signing after the capture of Michael Bridges from Leeds. "Les Ferdinand is a goalscorer," said Bolton manager Sam Allardyce. "He scored 12 goals in 28 games last season in a struggling side. He got two against us as I recall and he will be a valuable squad member." The ex-Newcastle and Spurs frontman had been linked with League One outfits QPR and Millwall.
