Februar 2008 Ibrahimovic: Referees Against MeZlatan Ibrahimovic has hit back at those who say that Inter are being favoured by referees and instead says that the opposite is in fact true as officials are always penalising him for no reason. The Nerazzurri have hit the headlines in recent weeks after their victories against Parma and Empoli came about after the award of controversial penalties. There was more hullabaloo last night in the 2-0 win over Catania as Esteban Cambiasso broke the deadlock of a tight game on 67 minutes, even though replays showed that he actually was offside when striking the ball into the net. After the game Mancini defended the referee, saying that it was an offside by just centimetres. During an interview with Controcampo, Mancio then stormed off after being annoyed by the line of questioning, which had implied that Inter were being favoured. "Mancini is good. He must always defend Inter when they are attacked," said Ibrahimovic. "We're always hearing this story about referees helping us. I don't understand it. “I have been fighting with them since I arrived in Italy. They often blowing their whistles at me, and it happened tonight. I don't understand. The only thing me and the team can do is win, and this is what we are doing." The Catania fans demonstrated their opposition to referee Stefano Farina’s failure to disallow Cambiasso’s goal in the most unusual way. For the remaining 20 or so minutes of the game they sarcastically cheered and chanted Farina’s name every time he blew his whistle, and even gave him repeated standing ovations. Inter have restored their eight-point lead at the top of Serie A over second-placed Roma, who won 2-0 against Reggina on Saturday night. das sind ja ganz neue auswüchse=) 0 Zitieren Diesen Beitrag teilen Link zum Beitrag Auf anderen Seiten teilen
